Funny cause all of the cold start videos I watch, none of them do it. Yeah, white vapor after about 10 seconds, but not bluish gray. Guess you better take your truck in.
No, I don't stand at the rear. I remote start my truck while walking up to it. It's not carbon. It would be black. It's worse than that video most times and easily noticeable.
No problem. You should see the sarcasm on the Harley website, but the first 2 guys telling me it's normal is BS. There's an oil leak somewhere. If it was fuel it would be black. I've been around high performance cars for longer than a lot of you have been on the planet, except this is my first...
Normal. Then why haven't I ever seen it before and what's the cause. It's not condensation vapor, that's white. You guys sound like a Harley dealership. Everything is normal.
Started seeing some light blue/gray smoke on cold start. Mostly after sitting overnight. 36K miles 2020. Took a video this morning and went to dealer. Showed the service writer (who I've dealt with a few times, good guy) so they can't say they can't duplicate it. Can't see me for 2 weeks. Like...
Guess I wasn't clear. The Raptor is the one that has the problem. Not the Bronco.
Trying to find out if anyone else experienced this so I have some ammo going to the dealer.
Since I bought a 2dr Bronco, my 20 Raptor has been able to rest a little. I recently noticed bluish gray smoke when I start up the Raptor after it sits overnight. Only lasts for about 5 seconds then turns to vapor. Guessing it might be valve leak down, or oil seeping into the turbo. Like I said...
My 2020 truck has been flawless for about 25K. Around that time, it started clunking on shifts even in normal mode. Thought it was the driveshaft or trans. This is something I'll have to bring up with service.
I use a Fumoto. I changed my oil 2 days ago. Got exactly 6 qts out and put 6 back in. Drain the oil, plug the pan, then remove the filter. Unscrew the filter a little and let it drain out the hole in the skid plate.
No mess at all. First engine I've had in a while that doesn't use any oil at all.
You're kidding right? KO2's noisy? If these new Goodyears are as noisy as my Duratracs were on my AT4, you can keep them. The more the Duratracs wore, the worse the noise got, to the point of giving me a friggin headache. Also, their sidewalls are probably gonna be a lot softer, just like the...
Great. Put a 392 in a Jeep that handles like shit. I got rid of my Challenger SRT because it handled like shit.
Dodge/Jeep is great for going in a straight line very fast, that's about it.
Good Luck!
What does that have to do with it? Theft????
Tailgate locks so it's not like someone tried to steal it like they used to do.
Sure it's not the removal slot? It might have accidentally come off the hinge.
