I’ll make this short as I’m looking for explanations before I go further. Slight ticking from phasers on a 2017 Raptor, nothing major. Remote started before walking outside one morning and walked out to my truck sputtering horribly. Would not idle and especially not driveable.
Had...
*UPDATE** At this point I feel like i'm just providing entertainment to the group so why not, right? The Service Manager that stated she would call every day/ every other day has not been heard from since our first conversation. I reached out to her, left a VM that said "Im not calling...
*Update*. So as I mentioned the issues were harsh downshifting (already had the TSB program update performed), harsh engagement from Park to drive, what felt like a miss or slipping during medium acceleration and just an overall feeling like loss of power.
Called last Thursday/Fri and no...
I will try to keep this short and to the point and elaborate more if needed. Owner of a 2017 Raptor/ 802A/ with 51K currently. I bought the truck from a private dealership at 38K. During ownershipi the truck has been to the same dealership 4 times for transmission related issues.
1st-...
Dealer states there on backorder. Evidently there not avail at AZ, O'reilys, Napa, etc. With all the aftermarket suspension parts out there does no one make end link upgrade?
I'm a little hesitant to go back OEM as I had a 2004 F150 SCREW leveled with adjustable struts in the front and...
Hello. Interested in Cobb Accessport w/ TCM and have a few questions. If you have time would love to clarify a few questions that I have. [email protected] personal email.
**Last Update**
Valve body replaced and all updates completed. Immediately notice smoother shifts up and down. No more hard downshifts so seems like they fixed it. Will have to see if anything happens in the next 2-3K miles.
**UPDATE**
Per Ford its a malfunctioning valve body. Part came in today, truck being dropped off tomorrow and they will need it for 2 days. Will try to get specifics on what actually happened or if this is a guess.
2017 Raptor. Had a issue with the transmission shifting hard from 4 to 3rd ONLY. Nothing in any other downshift and nothing upshifting. Enough that it would cause you to lean forward when it happened. Read about a transmission service bulletin update and took to the dealer to have...
I did not post on Jalopnik. After being told what the problem was I researched it a little more. Tends to be a fairly standard part that goes bad BUT since most people turn off/ tune out/ by-pass the Auto Start/ Stop function its possible that the pump has failed but never noticed since its...
Went back to the dealership, this time on a Monday instead of a Friday. Tech found "Auto Start/ Stop Transmission engagement solenoid" had failed on the side of the transmission. So, in case this happens to anyone else on here....there you go!
There's my weak ass contribution to this group...
2017 Raptor SCREW, 36K
Bought used and had for 3 months. No issues with Start/Stop but did have hard downshifting when driving. Found on the threads here the TSB regarding a transmission reprogramming. Dealership addressed and HUGE difference in being more smooth. Was informed that trans...
