I mentioned in my post those numbers were for 35s and the travel was restricted for 37s. I also only said it APPROACHES svc mid travel numbers, not performance. And current svc mid travel is 16.5" not the 17.5" of your pre-production/modified kit has. I was also not comparing rear travel...
Ahhh! I missed that part. I did pay attention to the Kw since it's not something I need. But even a 2kw system would require some sort of electrified system correct?
Sorry, Powerboost is the correct term. A ford rep showed the built in generator connection in the bed on the new Raptor. And that is currently only offered on the Powerboost F-150, so I think it's safe to assume it will be in the new Raptor. I am not an expert on it, but just making an educated...
There are actually more revisions in the new gen 3 then most may realize! The new 5-link rear suspension, Taller front shock towers and improved lived valve shocks. 15" suspension travel front and rear. Which approaches SVC mid travel numbers and firewall, frame and fender clearance for 37s from...
Whattttt!!!!! Nice find! Wonder if anyone on here has tried it? Now I want to try it but not sure if I'm keeping my Raptor for much longer since I put an order and deposit down for a new Bronco last month....
I would be good with just getting the better sound even if I didn't get the selectable feature. I'm in the Keystone area so neighbors are far enough way they don't matter. I've probably seen you 54 if your in the Lutz area. I travel that way to Wesley Chapel for work!
I feel like it would be something an exhausting manufacturer could easily do! And a little surprised no one has really thought of it before. Equal length is nothing new but more prevalent in N/A motors.
Not sure if everyone has seen the 3rd gen raptor yet but they showed how they updated the 3.5 ecoboost with an equal length mid pipe section that in my opinion really improved the sound! My question is will anyone make a kit for us 2nd gen trucks to achieve the same results?
Selling my SCT X4 tuner. Model 7015 for 2017-2020 raptor. Tuner is currently un married and ready to sell in original box with all cords and paperwork. asking $350, that includes shipping to anywhere in the US (lower 48 only). Or would do $325 if your willing to meeting in the Tampa Fl area...
Still no luck for me. I called them and it keeps coming back they are busy with other customers. Try the online chat on their website and no one ever joins the chat. Sent them an email and have had no response. Hope you have better luck with yours!
I ran the update on my pc and it came back saying it was currently up to date as it arrived to me but when I plugged it into my truck and tried to load the tune it said additional update required. Connected the tuner to my wifi to update it that way but it fails every time... Just emailed SCT so...
Different color spring are referring to a manual waste gate which the ecoboost raptors do not have. We have electronic waste gates which open and close to bleed off boost pressure by bypassing the hot side of the turbo. That is how tuners control how and when the boost is applied. So by...
What modifications to the suspension do you have to run 37" Toyo's? Did you have to trim a lot? I ran toyos on my last truck and really liked them. Thanks
No other parts are required but unless you are changing to a race style coilover or running hard through rough terrain you won't see any real benefit to the UCA's. The main reason to get these would be for the added adjustability to properly align your tires if you get different coilovers or do...
How hard were you driving to do that? Considering the BDS lift myself. Also how much did the lift and tires affect your gas mileage? Mine is a daily driver around 2k a month so I have to look at that as well. Appreciate some insight!
