I’m with you there, the lack of heated mirrors is a big safety issue in extreme climates. Ford really needs to step up! Not only is Ram able to make way more TRX’s they also aren’t stripping stuff off them and giving customers peanuts back on a credit for deleting critical items.
I put those exact wheels on mine and noticed a very slight decrease in ride quality and an increase in cornering due to less sidewall flex. Overall I’m very happy with them and wouldn’t go back to stock.
I was in a similar situation as you and was able to drive them both for about 6 weeks and kept the Raptor. Both are bad ass and are the best two trucks out there but I just prefer the lighter more agile feel of the Raptor.
That is totally going to depend on year, mileage, condition and trim level.
I just sold my 2020 802A leadfoot Raptor with 11,000 miles on it for $76,000 and was offered between $72-75,000 on a trade in. The west coast market is very hot with these trucks.
Totally agree with that! A good performance side by side is in an entirely different universe.
Plus it’s just much easier to beat on that and keep my Raptor nice but to each their own.
I really think the R will be street legal. They are aiming for the TRX and if not for the TRX the R would likely never exist.
I bet it has the 5.2 and has more than 702 HP to one up the TRX.
Who knows though really.
It needs to be off roading and street also. The reality is most people don’t take them off road. I love my Raptor but much prefer off roading my can am X3 or 450 R dirt bike.
This is surprising to me as I believe the hybrid Tundra will be quite a bit faster than this one being tested.
Still wouldn’t trade my Raptor for one not even close.
