I’ll attach a few pics of my Weld’s that are the same specs. 17x9 4.5 backspace (-12mm). They sit nice but much further out then stock and further then methods. Decent looking wheel, but I couldn’t imagine rolling around on wheels that cost $100 a piece. Wheels/tires are one place that should...
You can check them before you start throwing parts. Just grab them and give them a good shake. You will be able to tell pretty easily, mine had a lot of slop. You can also just start the truck and look for any movement in them. They will usually wobble a little. Super easy swap just need a...
102k. I swapped an idler and the belt to a Roush one and it stopped. Dealer just put a cheap belt on so I think that might have been the issue. Balancer still has a little movement but it goes away at anything past idle so I’m not too worried about it. If it gets any worse I’ll swap it.

Seems my harmonic balancer and an idler have failed. It’s over 100 degrees for the first time here in a while and I was getting a very loud chirp for a second on startup. Anyone ever changed their harmonic balancer? Easy? Hard? I’ve attached a link to a video. Thanks.
@FordTechOne This thing is leaking... again. Had him do all new front seals and has now had 2 pump seals and a torque converter. Is it possible the vent is stuck so pressure is building and is now venting out a seal? Any ideas? Thanks
100k. It’s possible it’s been there a while I recently bought the truck at 96k. It was only driven 4k by the last owner he had it for 2 years. It 100% is trans fluid. Pretty distinct red color I’ll attach a picture. Something was definitely wrong with the converter, it drives much better now...
Looked into this initially but my leak is coming from the bell housing and is pooling in the bottom. When I brake the fluid gets pushed to the front of the bell housing and dust plate and leaks from there. Got the truck back today so I will drive it a bit over the next few days and check...
New torque converter is in. Had them do all front seals while it was out too. Truck drives great, firmed up everything and my rollout (0-5 MPH) is smooth now. Even though this was a somewhat costly experience, pretty happy with the outcome.

Truck will be getting a new torque converter as well as all new seals. Found a pinhole leak in a weld on the converter. Who knows how long it’s been leaking, shop said there was a good amount of fluid sprayed around the bell housing.

New opinion is torque converter is shot. I have no problem wrenching on small things but my mind tells me no when it comes to messing with the transmission. I will update on the outcome. Should know for sure by EOD.

Pretty good leak on front of transmission coming from in between bell housing and dust plate. Indy shop says it’s a front seal and wants $1800+. Anyone else had a similar leak?

I went on an 1100 mile road trip this weekend and I’m 99% sure mine is the AC compressor. RaptorActual, is your truck modified at all?

After some testing, this “bump” does only occur when the ac is turned on. If anyone else is having a similar feeling, get on the highway and then off the ac for a few minutes, then turn it back on and you should feel the “bump” within a few seconds. As stated above, I’m going to go with the ac...
I’ll try this. I looked at the mode 6 data and I wasn’t getting any misfires really. I think the most I had was 4 in one cylinder on about a 45 min drive. From what I’ve read that’s pretty normal. Now thinking about it I do notice it more when I have the ac going.

Alright so 2013 Roush, 97k, running 91. Cruising the highway I will get what feels like a bump but from what I can gather it’s a misfire. Only while cruising, doesn’t seem to be an issue while accelerating. No codes, but I only have a cheap scanner. Anyone else had this issue or have any advise...
Hello, I have a 2013 Roush and was looking under the truck today and noticed the vacuum lines going to the IWE's are rubbed through, the previous owner set the truck to mid perch and installed 37's, could this have caused any damage or do I just need to replace the lines? Thanks, Jake.
