My previous truck was a 15 F-150 and I bought floor mats from Ford. I liked those mats better than the Raptor ones. The Raptor ones are okay and better than the carpet ones that come with regular F-150s, but seem like a step down than the optional Ford mats.
I have something like this. Not sure of the brand. It also creates a cavity under the backrest of the seat for storage as well. I have quite a bit of stuff organized with this system and like it.
I think I tend to drive with my right hand on the shifter. Too many years of driving a stick I guess. So I never thought about wear and tear on the console cover.
My neighbor has one and it's pretty cool. Hard for me to justify the cost as others have said b/c the options are pretty widely available a la carte for much cheaper. But, if you want a package deal and no headaches it might make sense.
Hah. I work from home, so I'm lucky that not much has changed for me or my family during this apocalypse. What I really need to do is get away from home and hit the road. :)
This is a simple project meant for the daily use (not off roading). Will work with any current model F150.
Shortly after I bought by previous F150 (2015 Lariat), I put a 2x6 in the bed wall slots as a divider to help keep stuff near the tailgate. I live in a real hilly area so nothing just...
I thought it was going to be a kit and thought to myself it be a PITA to assemble. So, wow! Some serious skills and patience. And he's good at making videos to boot.
It will open a separate browser window.
It's pretty clear that Ford spends it resources on vehicle design and not apps. I've searched a couple of times for accessories I might want to apply my points towards, but so far no luck on how to do it. And, when it directs you to the accessories...
I'm in Austin, TX. I bought mine recently from Covert Ford b/c the other big dealer in town all had exterior graphics. I don't know what invoice is, but I got about 6750 off of MSRP less than 3 weeks ago.
When the sales manager called, he first said something like "what can we do to make things right?" or something like that. My immediate impression was that he was willing to give me something in exchange for redoing the survey. I didn't respond to that and instead just asked him if there was...
Agreed. I tend to ignore most surveys b/c I feel like they should figure out that on their own, without burdening me. And, the questions on surveys are often off target for what I think is important anyway.
The whole thing seems to be absurd, and Ford must know it. The fact that getting less than perfect scores is going to seriously hurt the salesperson or dealer is ridiculous. Not only is any process never going to be perfect on a routine basis, but buying a car usually sucks to begin with and...
In defense of the OP, I have had similar thoughts myself. I work remotely so most of us have no idea what each other drives, but some of us do talk about cars and trucks. I recently got a promotion and now supervise a guy I am pretty good friends with, and he had a hard time with that change...
I got something in the mail this week from my dealer saying I was enrolled in some program and that I get 4 free oil changes in the next two years. That never came up during negotiations, so it was a nice surprise. This dealer's oil changes are $50 (with tire rotation and inspections), and...
Thanks for the list. I would agree on the convenience factor but only in the context of setting up camp and not leaving it. I've had an RV (the kind you drive, not pull), so I know what it's like to stop and be camping while also feeling that you can't leave. It really does depend on what...
TLDR: Does anyone know how the dealership and sales people are affected by surveys after the sale?
I assume everyone who bought their Raptor new from a dealer received a survey about their sales experience. I have done these for the last few cars we bought so I'm familiar with the notion that...
I just bought a 2020 Raptor and got about 6750 off MSRP. Both of the big dealerships in my area have similar pricing. New car sales are very slow right now for obvious reasons.
Cracked me up when the sales guy I used tried to pressure me with "there's a buying frenzy right now". OMG, these...
I just traded in my 2015 Lariat on a 2020 Raptor. I was waiting for the 2021 redesign to come out and probably get a KR or Limited or maybe another Lariat. I really liked the idea of a Limited b/c of the motor. But then when I realized I could get a great deal on the Raptor (big discounts off...
I've seen these on various sites and I'm curious about the appeal over just using a tent, cot, etc. For the same price you can get some very nice camping gear and use less space. Not knocking it, so don't get me wrong. Just wondering...
