Not trying to hijack this post. You guys are pretty smart, I took a stock order for $5k over sticker, then the MSRP changed. The contract thing I have here says a specific price, not MSRP + 5k though. So basically I'm curious if you guys think that if they don't uphold the specific price on this...

I have a retail order placed on 12/8, confirmation, no VIN or build date. I put a deposit on a stock order that was placed in October, build week of 3/7 pushed back to 3/21. The stock order had pricing locked in after Blue Cruise price drop and before MSRP increase.

I got mine from FP. Your dealer should also know the build date, if you have one.

Do build dates stick better than build weeks? Or is it a just a crapshoot

I've done deals with Huntersville Ford before. I had to threaten to use a different dealer for them to honor X-Plan on an ordered F-250. They do markups unless you really fight with them so there will for sure be a markup on that Raptor.

When did you order?

This is basically what they did with F250s. I ordered a 22 Tremor right after order banks opened up and got the truck in ~90 days. All the while there are 21s sitting in purgatory.
