I traded in my 2020 802A with 17k miles on it. The dealer gave me 68k for it. I switched in to a 2021 Explorer King Ranch edition.
I bought my first new truck in 1988 and have been in pick ups ever since. But I can honestly say I'm really happy with what I went with. We'll see how I still feel...
No, not at all. At lower rpm's it's quite subdued. But when you get on it and let 'er rip, everyone in the vicinity knows it.
I did not think I was going to get used to the 6 cylinder. But when I added this it's a whole new appreciation.
I absolutely love it. It has just enough "pop" to wake the neighbors across the street on those cold morning starts when the garage door opens up. And I love the growl it has when getting on it in Sport mode. There's literally zero drone when you're at cruising speed in Normal.
Since getting my 2020. The excited feeling pressing that start button is the same as when I drove it off of the lot. I've had zero issues other then the glovebox appears to have been pulled out of a $10,000 Kia and installed in my Raptor.
The only thing I've done to it thus far was add the...
Damn. Just reading this makes ya sick to your stomach. I've never heard of so many issues with a vehicle, especially how well you have taken care of and treated it. Sorry you have to deal with this disaster!
I had the Borla S put on mine a couple of months ago and it is perfect to me. I feel a little bad for the neighbors on the morning cold starts when the garage door opens up, but it quiets down within a minute. This month will be a tuner, so we should really get that baby rippin' in sport mode.
I'm taking the 2020 rapid red to the shop next week to have the fender flares and the steel bumpers color matched to the body for 'er 6 month birthday. I'm also having the stock beadlock wheels stripped and painted matte black. I can't help but wonder what the "FORD" across the back tailgate...
I didn't do it intentionally, but I lost the 3rd panel of my Ford hardtop bedcover. I for got to buckle the summbich before I got on the highway.
What's messed up is that they won't sell the panels separately; I have to buy the whole thing, which they want $1100 for a new one. I bought the...
So glad I came about this thread! Been wondering what mine would look like with the bumpers and fender flares painted, and after seeing Biggwrm's, I'm definitely doing it to my rapid red!!
It came down to 2 things, really. One is they're stubborn resistance to change. My 3rd and final one was a 2019 Platinum I bought last Feb. Toyota was supposed to do a complete re-do for 2021, but that has been pushed back. The plan was to purchase a 3rd gen in it's 3rd or 4th year.
The second...
It's been 2 full months and it still feels like the first day. After being in the Tundra's since '09, a whole lot has changed in the pickup truck world, that's for sure. It makes me wish I lived 30 miles from work instead of 12.
I also find it interesting that Ford doesn't offer the special 0%...
I drove Fords from 1994 thru 2009. In 2009 I got my first Tundra and had 2 more with the 3rd one being a 2019 Platinum. But I've been missing my Fords like crazy, so I sold the '19 Tundra and picked this animal up 5 days ago. 2020 Ford Raptor.....
