Car fax indicates the “Long Block was replaced” around 21,000 miles. Could that be the reason? Did a google search but that didn’t indicate anything specific for the raptor.

Was ready to do my oil change, but was caught completely by surprise by the oil pan. It’s metal on a 17 produced in 2/17. Has this been seen before? Recently purchased it used with 37,000 miles used.
