The Rupes is the smoothest and the easiest on your wrists. I do a better job with it as a result. An orbital can tackle most jobs, but does have a limit. I can't get much done on old Mercedes paint, even with a micro fiber pad and Menzerna.

Yes, the Raptor bar is thinner at 3/4". The standard F150 bar is 1". Guess that I will order up the bigger bar.

Damn...you got me before I got back in to edit, ha ha. I just called them and spoke with a good tech guy. The thinner Raptor bar is a compromise for offroading. But as an only an occasional offroader and otherwise driving it like a sport car on the road, bigger bar more better.

I see another mod in my near future. Has anyone used the Hellwig 7783 Raptor specific bar ? Why did everyone go with the 7743 ? No offroading and wanted max effect ? Perhaps I will call them to discuss.

I find that I want the aux lights whenever the high beams are on. Repeatedly reaching up 30 times a trip to turn on/off to allow for oncoming traffic gets tiresome. Now that the nights are longer, I need to get back into this. There is not as much need in the long summer days.
