Right. Ken Block's play truck got a better engine than Ford's Le Mans GT race cars...

Sigh.
And the "600" horsepower Hennessey trucks that dyno 420 at the rear wheels really make "600" horsepower. Both with upgraded turbos and without...
Yikes. Put...
A Gen 3 Coyote with a Whipple Gen 5 is good for 700 whp on pump gas. On pump E85 they can go to 900+ whp.
Really interested to see what yours puts down.
For those of you who still believe the fake news that FordTechOne typically spouts, here is why the passenger car version (the Raptor version) of the Ecoboost can't handle 600+crank horsepower. The reason is that the Ford GT version is a hand built race motor with far more exotic internals...
Anyone have any real world experience with the Carbon 88 or California Pony Car carbon fiber interior parts? I am interested in them but only if they are worth the cost. Pics please! Thank you!!
Fake news. As always. 600 crank is really the upper safe limit. We have seen this since 2017 when Hennessey started putting upgraded turbos on these trucks. They don't do that anymore. Too many bottom end failures...
And just in case anyone thinks the Gen 2 Raptor ever got an engine as good as the Ford GT's (which gets SMOKED by its competition), here you go...

Beyond that, the actual Le Mans...
When you say Ford has never offered "less", what specifically did you mean by that? Did you mean less, as in "fewer"?
If so, you may want to check your notes on that, my little "friend" :)

:lol2:
Can't wait to see what this thing can do with a Gen 5 3.8 liter Whipple up top.
Also happy to see that Ford remains strongly committed to V8 engines until electric is ready for prime time (and doesn't rely on coal).
Do you mean Ford's "supercar" that only has a V6 due to ridiculous class rules at Le Mans?. The same car that gets SMOKED by heavier, lower priced competitors with V8s? That "supercar"?
No. I am definitely not confused. Bud.
:lol2:
Who's trolling? What are you going to do with your little Jenny when the next V8 Raptor comes out (thanks to Dodge/Fiat and not you girls)?
As for me, I will keep my Gen 1 and my 13th Gen 5.0. I will also be buying a 14th Gen 5.2 Raptor.
I was always turn off my AC several minutes before I arrive at my destination and crank up the fan speed to bring the ducts and vents back to ambient before leaving the truck. This prevents condensation.
The Gen 1 may already be past that point.

Only time will tell if the Gen 2 is looked upon the same way.
With respect to the electronics, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I figure there will be plenty...
