Remove the door panel and reseal the plastic seal by pressing it down and that should allow the butyl tape to create a seal. Try running the test as shown in my post above and see if your driver side door is leaking.
No pics but had all four rotors and brake pads replaced with OEM @ 48k. Pads were about half way down but rotors, especially driver side front were shot.
Wanted to replace my OEM battery since the intelligent access started acting up on the passenger side. Based on some research, it’s apparently one of the first things to go when battery is running low. Went with yet another forum recommendation and got an Odyssey! Had to drive 90 mins away...
Sorry gentlemen, I won’t be able to crack it open again anytime soon but the plastic seal is inside each of your doors’ panel. Not too hard to remove the panel. Here’s a good video to guide you.
And a video of the leak.
UPDATE: we had some rain so I took the time to check the carpet and it is dry. HOWEVER, I popped the small door sill piece off and water is still building up in the channel but not enough to wet the carpet so back to square one. I did some research again it’s possible the plastic seal within the...
Yes, it was a loose vent that’s behind the rear driver side seat.
Based on what I’ve researched, anything leaking from the front driver area could be the sunroof drainage hose, assuming you have a sunroof. It also wouldn’t hurt to check your rear vents too cause I can see that water eventually...
Thanks everyone for your responses. Took some time today to investigate since we have some rain coming up in the next couple days and found the problem. It ended up being the driver side rear vent. The top two clips were out to the point I was able to push the vent out from the inside. Fixed the...
Fellow FRF members, I have a 2019 with 48k miles and with the recent heavy rain we had here in SoCal, I discovered a water leak coming into the driver side rear floor. Headliner stays dry but the carpet by the door sill gets wet. Unfortunately, my bumper to bumper warranty is over so I’m certain...
It is very much replaceable without changing out the entire tailgate. Looked into this myself as I have a good scratch on mine. The appliqué will run you around $1100. Part # KL3Z-99425A34-AA. As for the work itself, tons and tons of clips. You can find tutorials by just googling it.
I would also try a different computer. When I did the download on a Mac, I couldn’t get the update to work. Once I tried it on a PC, worked. If there’s no access to another computer, you could also choose the option to buy the USB preloaded with the update.
I had the AT3 XLTs installed last week. I was stuck between those and Falkens but seeing the Coopers pop up in these forums, I went with it. We just had rain for the first time in a while here in SoCal and the Coopers ran great. On dry road, they feel like butter.
LOL you’re right about that.
Just had these put on this morning. Obviously feels much better than my super worn K02s. Will have to see after putting some miles on them.
Getting some new shoes for the first time since buying my truck new in 2019.
Cooper AT3 XLT being put on either today or tomorrow morning.
Here’s how the stock tires look at 46k.
Just finished the install and can say that the prompt no longer pops up! Still need to take it for a drive to see if it gets stuck on reverse screen, forget WiFi, etc.
Edit: can confirm the update fixed all the issues for my truck
Cerritos Ford took care of my cam phasers. They only had my truck for 2-3 days. Work was done so flawlessly that I remember looking in my engine bay wondering if they actually did the work lol.
