it’s worst when it’s 10 miles down the road sitting at rail yard and no communication or firm ETA like mine. Considering how expensive these things are, they should know exactly when it shows up. If you can track your envelope and tell when it will arrive then I don’t see why Ford can’t give us...
That’s just ******* ridiculous. If that happened to me, I’d be flying out to OH, IL, MI or PA and driving one home. They seem to be having bunch on the lots at MSRP.
I had a new Range Rover shipped to me ~1300miles back in late 2019. I paid around $1100 for it back then. I highly suggest you opted for enclosed transport and they made the entire journey in 2 days with two drivers. Also I was able to track the transport real time with GPS.
There was an...
Ford Chat and dealer are they looking at the same system? If they are then it is human error that gives the wrong information or two completely different systems with different status?
I’ve tried tracking rail since they gave me the rail car number and it’s even more confusing. I think at some point my truck switched rail cars and the original number I’ve been tracking was pointless. But honestly I don’t know, I’m in my current delivery window ETA and dealer saying next week...
Give about two weeks, if your order still isn't sitting in your garage there has to be a Raptor nearby you can snatch up. I'm seeing these hit dealerships regularly. They are shipping and flood gates are about to be fully opened. We made it through all 208 page of this thread, just a few more...
Congrats! Mine shipped on 15th and still on rail, supposed to make it to rail yard tomorrow. However, I fully expect it to sit there for days or weeks no way I’m that lucky.
You’ll get your ETA once it switches to ship. If you track your order using Ford Canada tracker it gives you a totally different ETA, which is what the dealer and ford chat will give you.
I had mine get approved, but honestly it didn’t tell me much aside from it’s sitting in a parking lot and bingo on fuel. On the day it shipped, I saw it moving and then connected services was disabled so no updates since the day it shipped.
Not accurate, I had a Ford Lightning, lost 40k when I sold it. The headlights were good, but not too bright until I FORSCAN the Glare Free to make it better. At least, they were not any brighter than my other vehicles.
There are also trucks that are built and ship within 24 hours that have landed in Houston area in dealerships in little as 8-9 days. That’s ridiculously fast, no rhyme or reason how and why it’s so fast to certain states or regions.
I find that dealers know or care about very little regarding cars that aren’t on their lots costing them floor plan money. Until it shows up, it’s not their problem.
