I hit a nail with one of my tires within a year of getting the truck (mid 2018), the dealer said they would have to replace the tire because it punctured the sidewall. I noticed today the tire has a patch on it and the $500 "new" tire wasn't actually new, perhaps a refurbished? Is this standard...
