Daily Driver + Sports Car --> Raptor

Never had much desire for sports cars on the (public) road once I was out of my mid twenties. I road raced sports bikes competitively for years and that kind of ruins you for "go-fast on the street" endeavors. My Raptor checks all the boxes for me. YMMV

    Blank display

About 6 months ago, my truck started displaying a black screen upon startup. There must have been a Synch 3 update around the same time, because that's when I started to have to click "Ok" to prompts that magically started appearing. I need to reset the display to get CarPlay to work, every...

    Raptor R vs Cybertruck

For me, it's also the crowd who's into Teslas and Rivians that turn me off the most. I'll stop right there

    Tail light damage

Got a new one coming. Thanks gents. I couldn't make myself by the scratched one off EBay. Now it's time to make my wife feel guilty :)

Will you even consider a Cybertruck (Fun Poll)

Hell no. All of the EV mandates being pushed, make me hate them twice as much

    Tail light damage

Would a non-BLISS work? I could just install my BLISS module in it? Or do the non-BLISS not have the mount?

    Tail light damage

I saw some older posts of yours while searching. Assuming the 2017 Raptor taillights I found on EBay are the same as 2019-2020? Can I just get those, swap out the BLIS, reinstall and avoid an ECU reflash? I haven't taken out these taillights. Don't know if BLIS is inside or affixed to the...

Thanks gents. Are the 2019-2020 tail lights different from the 2017-2018?

    Tail light damage

My wife backed into something when she borrowed my truck. Does anyone know if I can buy just the cover? Or do I need to replace the entire assembly at $1100? Everything still works and it's just the outer shell that's damaged

    I have 60k miles on my 2020

Good thread. My 2020 has 43k. I have a FT job, but also a side business where I own a tree business. So my truck gets worked. I too have zero issues. I've only changed the oil and nothing else. Drives and looks like a dream.

R Alternatives - What would you consider?

I see it too. You'll find a lot of these dudes really should be in EVs

R Alternatives - What would you consider?

I'm shocked by the responses on sports cars. You mofos don't need a truck, so why are you getting something that's inferior in almost every category ?

    Any other Raptor work trucks?

I own a small tree co on the side and use it for that on occasion. During deer season I'm usually tracking deer for hunters with it.
