As I said a joke. Gen Z, Your about 20 years off. Damn, sorry for just asking a question without doing a search.
Well the next person that asks a question anywhere on this forum everyone should rip on them, because I'm sure it was already asked at one point. SO no need to post anymore.
I have 32K miles on my Stock BF's. I rotated them every 5K miles. There getting noisy and are pretty low on tread. Thought I would get more out of them. Briefly, What replacements are you running and what do you like about them? Or did you just go back to stock. Thank you
i didnt realize how bad it was until I did the spring fix. Before, I would go under the truck every time and look for a loose muffler clamp, or hit the exhaust with my hand to try to see if something was loose inside. My son was there and asked me what is that sound. The dealer called me...
Where do they have the springs? I don't see any.
I know some tolerance is normal. It has been quiet for over 2 years then over the last 6 months I started hearing it. I never knew what it was until it got so bad I started doing some research. If I put the spring on it sounds like new again. I...
Looks like I fixed my bad rattle that is happening at 28K. Went to the dealer today and they said I have to bring it in. They never heard of this before. I explained everything thats happens and still no clue. Should I try another dealer? What would they do for me anyway. They said there are no...
Mine has been doing the same thing. Getting worse over time. It sounds like a loose clamp/ marbles in a can, but when it warms up after 5 min it goes away. What did yours end up being?
Thanks guys for all your input. The more I research I'm thinking IF..I even do anything I'll try to keep the trailer under say 5700 dry. It's only the wife and I so any payload we could put in the trailer. I think that would be a safe number. I hear you about renting. That is a good idea also...
What is the REAL difference from a stock F150 chassis and Raptor? I understand suspension and all, but if the raptor had f150 stock shocks, springs and tires, wouldn't it be a Platinum and be able to tow a lot more? Well you know what I'm getting at. Just trying to see why Ford rated it so much...
I did a bunch of reading on the distribution hitch. I will most likely go that route. I would also go the spring or airbag route too. Has anyone added springs/ airbags? Something like these. https://www.hellwigproducts.com/wp-content/uploads/product-digital-assets/135000975.pdf
How did it...
I searched for a while and didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I'm looking at travel trailers and what the Raptor cam really pull safe. I'm looking at a couple. There is one that weighs 6850lbs with a hitch weight of 750lbs. And 6805lb with hitch of 785lbs. From what I'm researching I'm...
Done.... I ended up going with lombard ford. They were like $100 more , but they offered 12 months financing. S0 with $1000 down it came out to be like $96 a month for 12 months. I was thinking about waiting, but I was uneasy what the prices would be in 2 years. Piece of mind now.
Plan...
The Audi guy I talked to was directly from Audi protect
https://www.audiusa.com/us/web/en/myaudi/service/protection-plans.html
Yea I priced out Flood ESP and Endurance.
Endurance wants $3500 and said it's 8 years from NOW with no bulbs or keyfob.
Flood ESP * years from 8/5/2020
Ford...
I don’t think the ESP guy was correct. I just got off the phone with the Audi warranty rep for my wife’s car. He told me to wait till the day after the factory warranty expires then buy the extended. This way it doesn’t start from the date it was bought. I explained what you guys said and what...
Ford ESP chat. I just got off with them and he told me this.
Own a 2020 ford f150. even if it was sold 4 year ago and I bought the 8? S I am only buying 4 years?
ESP -Gardiner Reynolds 16:50
A 2020 can’t be 4 years old.
A 8 year plan adds 5 years.
ME -I know say its a 2017
Ok
Me- Correct...
I own a 2020 with 9000 miles. My plan was to get a plan before the 3/36 ends. On there website it says
"Remember all Ford Protect plans start at the vehicles original retail date and 0 miles. You can find this date in the FordPass app"
So if I get a 8/125000, does that mean it started in 2020...
