Agree, from 800a it is a good upgrade (although overpriced, imho). With either Phoenix or Linkswell you get much more, for less $$. On those units you can also install apps from Google Play, whereas GuaTech locks you in with their UI and navigation, with no option to install different apps...

You might want to reposition microphone... Looks out of place. Good location to mount is factory overhead location (replacing OEM microphone) for nice and clean install.

It's much easier to work with connector on driver's side headlight. Remove air intake (one screw), and plenty of room there to connect anything you like.
