I just hit 10k on my 2020 and changed the oil and filter, rotated the tires, changed the engine filter as well as the cabin filter. I’ve changed the cabin filter in many on my previous vehicles but this one couldn’t have been more complicated. Notice I didn’t say hard.., it’s easy. But having...
Like the title states, I’m considering upgrading the system in my 2020 Scab. Understanding I don’t have the floor space the crew cabs have, I don’t want subs under the seat as I want to maintain that storage. Can I install behind the seat? Any thing else I need to consider when planning?
As the title says, I’m considering purchasing the bed ramps by ford. I have no tonneau cover and have the ford extender but my understanding is that they work together. I do have a couple questions...
1) anyone have bad experiences with strength or quality?
2). I have the factory spray in...
I tried to sell a set of black lug nuts but it says I have insufficient privileges. What do I need to do to earn the right to sell? (preferably nothing that the old fart would have in mind)
So I just rotated all my tires and practically threw out my back. Them are some heavy wheels. I saw some little hydraulic tire lifts on rollers to assist. Anyone have any experience using them and if positive ... any recommended ones?
Just noticed something odd. The passenger side seatbelt connector has a felt surface/sticker attached to it. None of the other seatbelt connectors have this applied. Is everyone’s Raptor the same?
2020 Scab
So there are a million threads on oil changes and the mess it makes. Watched videos... looks horrible. Was looking to consolidate and suggestions into a single post. Haven't changed the oil in a vehicle in 30 years so looking for some tips..
1) I want to avoid taking the full skid plate off...
Never changed the oil before on my 2020. I think I got everything I need including copious amounts of paper towels. Question on the fumoto valve. Any special tricks to installing? Should I use pipe thread tape?
I have the OEM beadlock wheels. I bought the following Cone Seat Lug Nuts and the stock lugs seem much thicker than the new lugs. The new lugs are "cone seat" and apparently there are bulge seat that might be close to stock. Should i purchase the Bulge Seat set? Does it even matter...
Any suggestions on how to fill a small hole drilled into the bed through the spray in liner? Was thinking some black epoxy or caulking. It’s really a small nail sized hole in the wheel well.
Taking delivery of a new 2020 802a in a few weeks. Getting some stuff together and tried to figure out how to get my music as a aux drive. I can’t find out how many USB ports are available. I know there are two in the dash... any in the center console? Would prefer one in the center console...
Replacing the stock lug nuts I’m seeing some folks install sets without a locking nut, some install with a single locking nut per wheel, and some have full sets where every nut is a locking nut. I’m leaning to a single locking nut but curious what others have to say.
My insurance company (geico) offers mechanical breakdown insurance with a $250 deductible which appears to overlap the ford extended warranty coverage. Was thinking about purchasing an extended warranty for the new truck on order but this has me considering another direction. Has anyone here...
Pretty much what the title says.... I have an opportunity to modify my order right now to include the oem bed extender. Or I should just leave alone and pick it up later? I’m getting the spray in bed liner so is it an easy install after the fact?
Have a 2020 on order. I’ve gotten screwed in the past where the dealer “forgot” to put some items in the trunk upon delivery. Stupid stuff like first aid kits, brackets for license plates, floor mats, etc. are there things I should be looking for like floor mats, boxlink stuff, anything?
Planning on a raptor and can’t decide between the scab or screw. I really don’t need the extra space in the back as it’s just my wife and I. We are small people anyway so our seats are usually scooted up.
I think it looks better but am I missing out on anything by getting the scab?
Does it...
