That's what they claim. My truck was the first one to go back to their shop and be modified, unfortunately their mod didn't do anything and the second dust cover and pinion seal were destroyed. I didn't bother going back to have it fixed again because they banged my truck into the top of the...
I don‘t remember what setting I had it at, but the sway bar came out when I got the torque arm from Krazy House. Don’t waste your money on the sway bar, buy the torque arm and you’ll be incredibly happy with how the truck feels. Just skip the diff skid plate, it’ll destroy your pinion dust cover...
This is the Retrax XP Pro with the Yakima overhaul HD. Since I need to haul kayaks, I need the height but they also make a shorter version that sits at about mid window for rooftop tents and such. You can also see the low mounts, where I can mount my rhino rack cross bars and basket in...
Hey guys and gals, for those of you with a Krazy House torque arm installed I just wanted to let you know that you might need to keep that puppy greased.
I spent a week or so chasing down a clunk, with what felt like some sort of binding under the truck. After investigating the usual suspects...
I certainly understand the price appeal of these two trucks you’re looking at, but I would caution you on tuning something you suspect may already be an issue.
As to the Oasis report, all of these things are just as accurate as Carfax. It’s what the dealer reports, not what actually happens. I...
I’d also add that the guys here that have had their trucks bought back by Ford would probably tell you to run away as fast as you can. That thing was dumped for a reason.
I wouldn’t buy that truck, it sounds like it’ll become your headache instead of someone else’s. My transmission doesn’t shift roughly, it’s actually very smooth. I think they’re selling you a load of bs.
Keep an eye on it, you should know within a week or two whether or not the part shifted and made contact. The dust deflector will start to wear and you’ll have fluid spots on the ground pretty quick.
My truck was built in June of 2019, and it definitely had an issue.
I too never received any points, so I just called ford rewards, who advised me to call my dealership. According to the finance manager, instead of getting the points I received a $210 rebate on the premium maintenance plan.
I’ve stayed at the Marriott and it was decent. It’s located amongst an outdoor shopping mall. Also, about 20 minutes south there’s a pretty cool two story sporting goods store called Schiels that has just about everything.
You’ll be pleased, it’s a beautiful place. I get out to Salt Lake about once a month, and the Grand American is one of my favorite places to grab breakfast. They make an excellent Egg Benedict.
If you’re looking for a decent micro brewery/ restaurant, check out Red Rocks while you’re there.
Very cool, thanks for sharing those pictures. I get to spend some time hiking in the Engadine every year, but it’s always covered in snow then. I’m usually wishing I had some sort of 4x4, and some green scenery.
My avatar picture is myself launching out of Samedan
Now now, one of them does own an order sheet. We had to suffer through eight or nine threads titled something like “Help me! I need men to tell me what to buy!” :p
A couple extra things to add here: In my experience with the rhino rack, and pretty much any non hd bar, with this setup there is a lot of flex in the bars. They are long, and even with about a hundred pounds, you could see the gear bouncing along back there. I’ve gotta imagine that if I were...
The wife and I just put our overhaul HD on a few days ago in order to carry our kayaks. At the lowest height, the cross bars sit just below the level of the third brake light. Right now, we have them raised so the boats clear the roof, until our Thule hullavators show up.
The rack setup is...
What was your out the door price after all of that was added? It sounds like a scam based on your description. Is it possible to post up your paperwork with redacted personal details?
Welcome to the forum! I believe the custom is to post up a picture of your truck before @smurfslayer shows up and post a picture of the vehicle the forum will chide you about actually owning.
When I installed my retrax I went through two tubes of silicone, and I sealed every edge around the bed. I also siliconed the drain tube fittings into place, and so far I haven’t had any water in the bed.
