I have easily put 10,000 miles on my 2013 towing an Airstream 27FB at about 7000 lbs GVW . Have been using the Blue Ox with 1000 lb sway bars. I know with the tongue weight and bed load including generator I am at max capacity but have never even come close to feeling over loaded or unsafe...
Currently having my 2013 Fox shocks rebuilt at 100k. Just began to notice a difference in ride quality. Truck has always been a pavement queen and has always been babied. Don't know what it really means but wanted to share.
Makes you wonder if we have achieved the pinnacle of combustion engine technology. Most of the old and new race car technology is now in our pick-up trucks. Whats next? I purchased a new 1990 Infiniti Q45 and at the time it had variable valve timing which was fascinating then, now it's nothing.
100k+ on my 2013 with Roush stage 2, including about 8k towing my Airstream. Never had a problem with transmission or engine. I did have to replace front axels due to CV boot failure at about 75k.
Put Snap and Zap brand tow mirrors from Amazon on my Gen1. Drove 6000 miles this summer and they worked pretty well. Most people wouldn't notice them. They have the same brand on Amazon for the Gen 2.
Installed Roush Stage 2 SC at 90K and absolutely no problems, but I do take good care of the truck. Basically everything else under the hood is stock. Just wanted the extra HP while towing and it sure made a difference.
I my humble opinion, even a truck built for racing Baja is going to develop rattles after an off-road beating. My 2013 is still pretty tight. I do try to keep it maintained but s___t happens.
I just towed a 7000 lb trailer for 6000 miles using a weight distribution hitch with no problems. Had a very slight squat in the rear but was always able to maintain ride and stability. Going over the Rockies was a little tough but I am fixing that right now by addition of Roush stage 2.
