Just had mine replaced this week. Initially noticed the noise around 17K, it was faint at this time and I knew it was unlikely to be taken care of. Fast forward to 27K and it was a very pronounced rattle on cold start and no denying the problem.
When the light flashes on the remote is it green or red and when the light is solid is it green or red? If you have the lower grille shutter actuator you could try plugging it in to rule out the U0285 being the cause. But, I'm fairly certain that if the CEL isn't illuminated the remote start...
Remote start function is limited when the CEL is on which is generally triggered by powertrain or 'P' prefixed codes, not so much U codes that represent communication. I've seen issues where the hood latch sensor has been disconnected on other makes and it prevents the remote start function...
I'd agree with the general sentiment that it isn't up to Mountune to now what will and will not work with their charge-air-cooler. As far as ACC relocation brackets go, I can comment that there is huge industry conversation about liability in regards to these systems and who bears the liability...
It's the forward facing camera in the windshield that needs to be calibrated, which incidentally needs to be calibrated after an alignment (guess how many shops are actually doing that). Aftermarket glass and calibrating this camera from my experience can be hit or miss. So, I'd personally be...

I don't have any insight on mounting location. But, I'm interested once you get it sorted how the system operates in that location. I do a lot of ADAS calibrations and based on OE service information and how most systems are designed on the surface this relocation would appear to create a poorly...
There is a calibration update available from Ford. I have an early build 18 and the shifting had gotten unbearable and I updated the calibration and it was a night and day difference.
