Taaaappy tap tap.
Maybe use a small wood dowel and a mallet to gently tap it into position while the camera view is on? Seems like a couple of light taps on the inboard edge of the lens housing would fix it.
Yep 8S. Lost it on the first run (I haven’t driven an RC car in years) and ran into my four board fence, which it broke! I’ll post a pic tomorrow. No damage to the SBR.
The only quality issue I have is that over half of the LEDs in all three light bars don’t light. Made a warranty claim...
This thing is amazing. Large, scale, and fast. Covers a lot of ground very quickly. Fun fun fun.
Installed braces for the rear cage, and some titanium bits from Scorched just arrived.
Just picked up an Arrma Kraton 6S EXB for general bashing. The new version of the Kraton has been...
I’m afraid that the SBR just speaks to me. I must have it. Bought a set of rear cage braces as well, along with some stiffer shock oil since I will be running mostly on grass. Maybe I’ll get the UDR as well.
In my experience, they are different animals. No matter how much after market CNC bling you add, a scale model will never beat a racing model in a race. And racing models tend to be much more durable and easier to service. I once had an RC10 that pretty much didn’t have a single stock part...
I’m going back and forth between a scale truck and a racing truck now…
If I was being rational, I’d get a scale kit like the UDR or the Baja Rey because I’m really only going to be bashing with it and the scale aspect will add to the fun. But I always get the performance bug.
You fûckers are making me want a new toy. As much as I like the scale aspects of the UDR, most of my RC car history has been with racing buggies and trucks, and I’m worried that I will be disappointed with the performance of the Traxxas. I’ve had a number of Losis and Associateds and have...
I hope you're right. I hate to see such a wonderful place go to hell. It's shameful.
Exactly. I'm 57. When I was growing up in SoCal, my dad had a gun rack in the back window of his pickup and at least one rifle was always in the rack. We weren't the only ones, and no one gave us a second...
I was born and raised in California. I lived there my whole life until I was in my mid-50s. I lived in LA, Santa Monica, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Pasadena, and Pacific Palisades. It’s a spectacular state and people love living there for a host of compelling reasons. I could go to the beach...
