It must have been pushed out of the socket. Just depress the mirror in or out until it clicks back in.

If you have other accessories in the truck with relays, make sure they are solid state. Mechanical ones will “talk” to other electronics in the vehicle (exactly what you are describing).

Just be cautious if you leave it permanently bypassed. If you do, you’ll need to let that tranny warm up a bit in colder climates before you place into gear and move. I had another Ford truck bypassed and jumped in to move 10 feet or so (had a trailer hooked up too) and destroyed the transmission.

Check where the ABS sensor meets the toner ring. Dirt or rocks probably got between the ring and sensor and damaged the sensor.
