Does anyone have a Jeep and a Raptor?

If you’re going to do this, do it right! ;) Get a 392 with the 35” tires, half-doors, and leave the top off. Jump over to the jeep392.com forum for leads on how to order with discounts. Thank me later. :)

    Musy smell

Recheck the front passenger footwell carpeting (underneath). There is a history of the AC condensation valve either not connected or blocked which floods the footwell. Had this on my 2019 and mold was growing. Sprayed & cleaned with SprayNine, and let it dry after the warranty work was done.

My second Gen 3 in two months!

Congratulations! Always a feel-good story to hear when someone gets the vehicle and options he really wants! How did you sell the ‘22 35? How’s the market? I’m assuming still very good for “used” Raptors due to the low supply.

    Gen 3 Bed Cage

I said “fortunate to have…” because even the school instructors had mentioned IR was not producing any more at this moment due to steel supply issues. I reached out to IR and they actually had four on hand. I and my co-driver grabbed the two cages in raw steel, and they had (as of a few weeks...

    Raptor Assault Registration now open

Just attended the May 13 class; another FRF friend was there! Instructors and staff were fantastic! Bottom-line: discovered the Raptor is likely the most capable truck in the world… rock crawl up steep inclines, then cruise down the highway in luxury. This is my first experience off-roading and...

Looks like no BlueCruise for Raptor - 801a's READ!

Does this mean the existing equipment that scans our eyes while driving does nothing? [speaking about the covered sensor on the driver side door near A-pillar, and the sensor above the center console screen.

    Recall Wait Times

I’ve been experiencing POWERTRAIN Malfunction errors which throws the truck into limp mode. This randomly happens when I make hard right turns (turns greater than 90 degrees). Do you think there’s any relationship to this recall. I’m super concerned about the damage driveshaft as mentioned in...

My go-to dealership is Klaben Ford (Kent, Ohio). I got both my 2019 ($5k below MSRP) and 2021 (MSRP; Ordered in June ‘21, Delivered in Oct ‘21) Raptors from them. Seek out Chris Volk (manager) or Robert Simon (sales)… great guys! Chris Volk [email protected] 928-276-0722 Robert Simon...

    The Good news!

Hang in there, Friends! The Gen 3 has many improvements that others have praised: modern interior, better electronics and UI, better (rear) suspension. Plus, it’s hilarious to see other Raptor drives do double-takes…”Is that a Gen 3???” All the wait anxiety will be immediately overcome with joy...

GEN 2 Molding carpet at passenger side

Had this problem with my 2019 Raptor: the AC condensation would drain into the front passenger footwell, and the recall solution fixed it. I used SprayNine (industrial grade cleaner) to get rid of the mold. I did have to leave the footwell carpeting pulled out a bit for a week to make sure it...

    folding Mirror question

Ford is like a massive “custom” builder… fit and finish is not tight like German or Japanese manufacturers but gives you the feeling of hand-built craftsmanship (read: mis-alignments show the character and individuality of each truck…). [Not a serious post btw…]

    Yet another CO arrival

Hi! The bed cover is branded as ‘FORD’ with a logo at the left corner near tailgate. It turns out to be quite sturdy (read: heavy). I do like the lower profile compared to the previous factory 3-panel hard tonneau cover on my Gen2.
