I have dealt with Motortech in Abu Dhabi for some minor electrical work but not tried them for anything mechanical. I do have the clunk and have replaced my front driveshaft under warranty three times. Do you know if any good shops in the area? My truck is out of warranty now.
It would be great if someone can come up with a kit that includes the RCV IWE upgrade, RCV axles and a wavetrac front differential. That should make the front driveline much more reliable. Am I missing any parts that need upgrading on the front?
I ended up getting the ADD bumper since my factory bumper and skid plate got very banged up. Now the skid plate on my ADD bumper needs to be straightened out or replaced. I guess I am too aggressive but with the dunes we have here sometimes you have to punch it or get stuck.

Does this apply to 2011 models too? Mine doesn't have the torsen front diff but I get a loud clunk from the from left wheel that feels like the drive shaft is disengaging and reengaging. I have broken a driveshaft and a cv joint (see my thread on this) and I believe it is due to this problem.
Thanks Trevor. I ended up ordering from Lakelandfordparts.com because the other site didn't work when I place the order. I'm hoping to install them next week as the parts finally arrived in the UAE. I will try the driver side first and see if it works.
Thanks Trevor. I take it I will need 2 of each if I want to driver and passenger seats. Also what about the seat cushions? Are there specific part numbers for them?
Trevor thanks for the write up. Any chance you can list the parts you used? I would probably go with replacing the seat cushion instead of modifying. I have a 2010 with heated seats.
Also would you be able to point me to somewhere online to get the parts as I'm located outside the US?
Thanks!
That is great news. Thank for being the first and for offering to do a write up!
Did you have to do any wiring/programming? Also any idea if it will work with the remote start (will the seat fans turn on with the a/c?)
Thanks Cubdriver
Did you change the front driveshaft and CV joints as well or just the differential? Was it a straightforward install?

Interesting about the RPG bumper that requires cutting the frame. I'd be reluctant to cut the frame especially since we have to do an annual inspection to renew registration and they are very strict about mods in general but especially any changes to the frame for safety reasons.
I don't think there is any difference. The window sticker says metric speedo and I think the only other difference is the speed warning when you hit 120km/h
Yes I'm in Abu Dhabi. Mine is a 2010 6.2L GCC spec. Bought it from local dealer as soon as the 6.2's came out. We did the sync programming and everything is working fine except for some interference when I use the Bluetooth audio through sync. Not a problem because I use the Bluetooth audio...
All done. Not sure why I tried to keep sync integration as I don't think I need it. The Kenwood has bluetooth audio streaming and phone. When I use Sync by connecting iphone through USB or bluetooth audio I get some interference sound. Maybe the installer did something wrong. Otherwise I'm happy...
I fully agree. That is why I wanted to do it myself but decided not to experiment when I wasn't comfortable doing it. It is being installed at a local shop and will be done today.
That's not good! Thanks for pointing it out. Isn't that the PAC MS-FRD?
Could you point me to a link preferably on crutchfield?
Also any thoughts on ease of install?
Hi all
I'm about to attempt to install an aftermarket navigation system to my 2010 Raptor and wanted to check with the experts here on a few things. My Raptor came with the Luxury Package so it has the Sony 6-disc CD changer.
I'm hoping to get input on two things:
Should I do the...
The fabrication and shipping took several months. Perhaps they have them available now though. Try dropping ADD an email or PM. I didn't do a bump kit.
