Just as an update to my post regarding navigation voice commands. I solved the issue last night, the sync3 system I installed was not configured for the Sony processor in the stereo. I was able to use Forscan to update the configuration and solve the issue. I had to set the first character of...
I did a sync upgrade on my truck and the only issue I have is that there is no navigation commands, or should I say I can't turn up the volume. Same issue when using Android Auto, the audio goes down when you would expect the command but the voice guidance volume must be at zero. I tried...
I used resale value in the sales pitch to my wife was well. I figured I could buy it, drive it for a few years and barely lose any money unlike any other car out there. Although now after having it for nearly a year my wife wants to get a smaller SUV knowing that we will keep the Raptor for a...
@yubayogi I do not have a front camera. Seller was - https://www.ebay.com/usr/theexpanse2016
There are several other people selling the same "kit" for around the $900-1000 range on ebay. This one looks identical to what I got -...
I ordered an upgrade kit off of ebay, it was $900, with Nav. The APIM and screen "look" like they are from Ford, but the unit came shipped directly from China. The USB port is definitely not Ford. The unit came programmed, the seller requested my VIN prior to shipping, and I had zero issues...
A couple of weeks ago I pulled the trigger and purchased a new Sync3 system from ebay. It took nearly two weeks from when I purchased it and when all the parts arrived. The APIM and screen came direct from China while the USB ports and cable came from NY.
I installed the unit this morning...
I was using the GoPro 7 Black facing out of the truck in 1080 60fps with their Hypersmooth feature enabled and a GoPro 3 facing us. I was going to put the 7 outside the truck, but after the sighting lap it was clear that I would just end up with a muddy video if I put the camera outside.
I was able to readjust the side rails and now I get a solid seal and thus no longer have any leaks. The side of my bed the rail went on very easily, the other side just took some fine tuning to get it to the point in which the seal was flush. I'm very happy with the cover to this point.
I just bought it last weekend at a really good price shipped to my door. Just contact Fordraptorlights.com through this forum for the discount.

I just bought the Lomax this past week. First rain it leaked, so I readjusted it, it still seems the one corner on the driver side by the cab will leak again. The rail doesn't seem to want to sit low enough to make a tight seal against the bed. Anyone have any tips on adjustments?
