FINALLY!!! After 10 months of owning my GEN3 37 PP, I finally installed my 17x9 0 offset VenomRex 601-BL wheels and 37x12.50x17 Yokohama X-AT tires. The stance is perfectly AGGRESSIVE and MEATY!!
NO LEVELING KIT!! Very minor trimming. But I am considering a leveling kit to allow the truck to...
Yes! Here’s a side profile of the driver side front shock that was replaced. The other passenger side shock got replaced too, but I didn’t take a picture of that side.
If I were you, I’d do exactly what I did: warranty a new set of front 37PP Fox Shocks from Ford. I’ve been driving on the new set of shocks and the ride is back to normal. The steering wheel feels a little heavy, but not too much. Since these shocks are brand new, it’ll probably take a good...
Glad to hear it’s a normal procedure. If anyone things otherwise, please chime in.
Just drove my 37 PP this morning through the 405 in LA and it’s much more smoother than when it was squeaking. It’ll probably get smoother once the shocks are broken in.
UPDATE: The squeaking is finally gone after my local Ford Dealer replaced both 37 PP Fox Shocks. We also realigned the truck to ensure everything is to factory spec. My truck feels like new again.
But I do have one major concern/question about these shocks being replaced:
When Ford sent the...
Bump.
This Raptor Forum has been a great source for research on all aspects on the new GEN3 Raptor.
Unfortunately, my 37PP (built before June 2022) has been experiencing excessive squeaking in the driver side front FOX shock. My 37 PP is 100% stock - no collars.
The squeaking started at...
Just recently came back from chasing the Silver State 300. I had my Gauge View display for most of the trip and I noticed a few things that alarmed me a bit.
215-230 degrees
75 MPH
A/C at mid level
Three total passengers
bed loaded (approx. 500 pounds)
37-inch X-A/T Yokohama tires.
Outside...
I recently installed AFE's Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System w/Pro 5R Filter in my 2020 Raptor and I feel it has given me a bit of extra power. But before I go into the details of the power, I am still a bit worried about having it installed on my Raptor. Thankfully, everything seems to look...
Glad I can assist with your tire decision. These tires keep surprising me.
Hopefully, they will hold up in the desert, which I'm really looking forward to.
I agree with you on this 100 percent. I really think the wear and tear of the front end makes a huge difference on how the truck sits leveled.
Right now, my truck is sitting pretty leveled without the use of +2 or +3 Deavers. I've looked at '17 and 1'8 Raptors on this forum, and it looks like...
These 37" Yokohama M/T's are incredible! The road noise is not bad at all, and to be honest, there's not much of a big difference in road noise compared to my old KO2's. They're a little louder than the KO2's but nothing like a Toyo M/T. These are 28% more quieter than the leading M/T brand...
Yeah, man! These Eibach springs are great so far. You won't be disappointed with the ride. The 37-inch M/T's are meaty and require a decent amount of trimming, but it's worth it. The look is much more aggressive. Once I really notice the MPG spike down, then I might switch to a 37-inch BFG KO2...
First Pic - Standing on all fours after mounting the tires, wheels and Eibach Pro-Lift springs.
Second Pic - Sitting on fours after extensive trimming in the inner fender wells. The honeycomb had to be shaved quite a bit to fit the 37s. Unfortunately, it's still rubs a bit. I'm hoping the...
So far, so good! The look on my Gen 2 completely changed! WAY MORE AGRESSIVE!
Only downfall is the amount of trimming needed to fit the meaty 37s. It also needs an alignment done since the camber is off.
All these little pains are totally worth it. I’m all in at this point and I’m beyond...
Newbie here! This is my first post on FordRaptorForum.com, so be nice. :)
Because of the positive and helpful reviews of this forum, I'm currently installing a pair of Eibach Pro-Lift Springs, 37-inch Yokohama M/T's, cam kit and 17-inch Methods. It's been a 10-year dream of mine to own a...
