I had a very similar issue with my 2011 scab. Turned out to be the lead frame and fortunately the recall covered it. Ford house fixed it (took about 2 weeks to get the part) but not a single issue since and I've driven about 5000 miles since then. Good luck

Exact same thing happened to my Gen 1. Luckily the recall was still active and yes it was the lead frame. Ford had it repaired and all good now. Good luck with. Mine is a 2011 with less than 60k

It's probably the lead frame in the transmission. I just had mine done under warranty and it's a 2011. Similar issues except mine wouldn't shift past 3rd gear. Check your vin online for the recall.

Just had the exact same thing happen on my 2011. Replaced the battery and all issues gone. By the way I live in Key West enjoy the islands.

I have a gen 1 2011 with only 45,000. Kbb shows still value at $36,000. But will NEVER sell this truck. Best investment ever
