I’ve always put electric tape over the photo light sensor on the center of the dash so the lights are always on. Technically, they are no longer auto that way. Not sure if that helps.
I’ve had the Bak MX4 on my Raptor, and decided to try the X4S on my TRX.
I personally think the MX4 is better looking (it’s a shiny finish opposed to the matte X4S) and seems more heavy duty then the X4S. I wanted to try something different, but should have stuck with what I knew I liked.
The fact that the R will continue production longer than the TRX (or so it seems) will win Ford a decent amount of TRX owners who dumped their V6 Raptors in the last 3 years back.
RAM is sticking the TT I6 into the next so called TRX they appropriately named the RHO (Removed Hellcat Option)...

What makes you think that? I went from a 19 Raptor to a 23 TRX (because of the Hellcat and I paid $11k under MSRP) but have no interest in going to a Raptor R unless it’s price would be at/below MSRP, something I don’t think will ever happen.

I took my Raptor (before I sold it) on a 18hr road trip and can say it was the most comfortable vehicle I could have ever wanted for such a task, 3 adult passengers confirmed my thoughts btw.

The school bus edition? Hard pass for me. I’m soon taking delivery of my blue 23 TRX for $10k under MSRP, so paying sticker or over for the ugliest version of a TRX possible (popular consensus as well as my own) is incomprehensible to me.
