Nevermind, just spoke to another dealer who said the 5% is indicating it’s getting close to needing an oil change. I’ve owned it for over a year and the service tech said 6 months/5,000 miles. Headed up there soon...
Interesting the difference in recommendations form 2 different dealerships.
My ‘19 has a little over 1,000 miles - don’t drive it much, and oil life says 5% left. Dealer says don’t need an oil change until 5,000 miles. “Just reset the monitor.”
Doesn’t sound right...
Not sure if this dealer sends survey emails after service jobs but, regardless, I'd let the head of service, not the tech, know you're about to post a very negative online review of their service dept. unless they make everything right. If he/she doesn't react to that they shouldn't be in business.
Good stuff there, TJ. Thanks!
I’ll be experiencing my first winter with my ‘19 Raptor and appreciate what other Raptor owners are setting their modes in (snow covered roads). I read another thread here on this subject and found it very interesting at the many different settings guys like to...
I am acquiring a new Shelby Baja Raptor and was wondering if Xpel and Ceramic Pro gets applied on top of the hood decals? Wondering how that would look. Or apply up to the edges and leave the decals bare?
Thanks in advance.
