I had this same issue after my transfer case blew up. When they repaired it they didn’t reconnect something correctly at the dealership which caused the issues you are describing.
I’m no forscan expert, but have been lurking for a while. Have you had someone look at your DRL while in drive? I believe I’ve read that they are different when in Park vs Drive.
For what it’s worth, I’m glad you asked this question. I’m sure others out there (not myself of course ) had no idea either. So thanks for asking the question so one of us, I mean them, didn’t have to.
just occurred to me - I've got the Ford fold up bed extender mounted back there. So long as I am ok with it not folding flat against the side of the truck, these should still install just fine, don't you think?
It looks like this thread died 3 years ago. Anyone found an aftermarket way to mount a hi-lift yet? I love what @602Raptor did, but I won't claim to be that handy. Aftermarket is probably safest for me...
I have a 2018 as well. I bought it new. Had 52 miles on when I picked it up. At 249 miles the transfer case blew up and left me sit. Ford covered it under warranty. The dealership that fixed mine had me wait for a month to have it repaired because Ford was creating a new part number for the...
Forgive me if I missed this on your website (I likely did), but what kind of results can be expected from just getting your tune (Stage 1 as I can't find 93 Octane anywhere in Colorado) and not the performance parts?
You can purchase the insurance when you sign in if you change your mind. No one in my class needed it, but about half of the class bought it. I bought it, and am glad I did. I didn't need it, but it gave me some peace-of-mind and more confidence in pushing the truck hard - Way harder than I...
It's wide, but you get used to it really quick. I went from a VW GTI so it was quite an adjustment for me, but it literally only took about a day. The first time I got in the Raptor, I was thinking "shit this thing is huge", but now I wouldn't change it for anything.
The biggest issues seem...
I love that it hold gears longer. I love that it down shifts when slowing down. There is a difference between a "sporty" shift and a shift that feels like it is being performed by a 16 year old kid that is driving standard transmission for the first time.
I agree. My complaint is that when it shifts, it is jarring. As in throws your head forward. I’ve even had the tires bark a few times. I’ve taken it to the dealer and had them flash the TCM hoping that would help, but still just as harsh.
I’ve got a booster seat and a full car seat in my back seat. There is still room for an adult to sit between the two car seats and be comfortable. The huge back seat is one of the many reasons why I bought the Raptor (F-150).
