Are the G1 hood graphics the same faux carbon fiber look? My G1 didn't have decals, so can't really speak to that. Either way, my point isn't about the look (which I liked), but that Ford uses poor quality vinyl and wouldn't warranty it in my case.

After cleaning them well, they appear to be a matte/satin finish so I decided not to risk it. Although, the barrel does appear to be the same finish, so maybe I'll clean those up and give it a try.
