Mine are at about 30K and still look pretty new. Very quiet, very good on dry pavement, rain, dirt and light mud. No experience with heavy mud or snow. I imagine they would work very well in snow, probably not great in heavy mud. I cannot speak to the balancing issues, but mine do appear to...
That picture makes it tough, but it does NOT appear to be the stock injector.
I couldn't tell you what it flows, but don't assume that because it's not stock it must be a 47 lb/hr injector as there are long-body EV6 style injectors available that flow 23, 34, 39, etc.. The attached photo...
This is typical Randy. I had precisely the same experience--picked up the truck in KC and drove it home to CA. Randy got a buddy of his who works for the airlines to fly my brother (Droid) out to Denver on a buddy pass so he could co-drive the rest of the way back to California with me...
And now I get 22 mpg and run 9 second ET's. Turns out, Raptors love candy. Who knew?
And regarding the Dora the Explorer reference, can anyone figure out where she's exploring in this picture?
Unless you live somewhere where that kind of thing is a real problem (at which point my suggestion would be that instead of buying a $50K truck, you spend the money to move to a better part of town) I would not worry about it. It's probably easier to put crap in a tank with a regular cap than...
Ahh the TC, a vehicle Maserati wishes desperately the world would forget.
I think it'd be fun to get one of those and then go hang out with it at the Maserati Club meetings, on their BB's, display at Cars and Coffee in the Maser section, or at Maserati Newport Beach, where you'd be sure to...
Yeah, I believe that Randy knows all about this one, so he should be able to answer any questions you have on the subject. He has a post here about it: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f52/sync-traffic-direction-information-services-renewal-778/
I have the touchscreen nav so it's not something...
Don't forget we of the order of the silver Raptor Bo. Having had both white and silver, in my experience the only thing easier to get clean / keep clean than white is (big surprise) silver.
Welcome! Those shots are great--you have quite an eye for photography. I especially like the 3rd one down. Keep 'em coming, and have fun with the Raptor.
It's pretty much unheard of for me to keep a vehicle more than 2 - 3 years, but I may well keep the Raptor around longer than that. It may not remain my daily driver, but it's always nice to have a pickup around, and as far as pickups go, this one is at the top of the class.
That wasn't T Robins fault--I lay the blame for that one on Enterprise. Steve was great--kept me apprised and never sought a restraining order when I started stalking him towards the end.
Thanks Randy. They really did step up. Ironically, the experience has made me a bigger Ford fan than I...
As a fellow scienctician, I find your logic to be unimpeachably cromulent. Indeed, it follows in the grandest tradition of logical deduction:
YouTube - She's a witch!
Problem Solved . . .
Just picked up the truck after they lubed the slip-yoke. It cured the problem 100%. So significant is the improvement it's like a different truck. Service advisor mentioned that he has seen more than a few trucks coming in with this problem.
So while the Raptor may well...
Finally got my truck back last night. All told it was in the shop for 25 days (1/6 - 1/31)
They ended up replacing the PCM, which took forever as they had none available. I think (as in I speculate) that the issue is one arising out of the PCM supplier having made a run of defective units...
Latest issue of Road and Track has a comparo entitled "Rallying Roots: STI vs. Evo - Comparison Test." The Raptor makes a cameo appearance in the article.
Enjoy.
Impreza WRX STI vs. Lancer Evo - Rally Comparison Test
I don't mean to be a ****, but dude, you're killing me. Your posts are impossible to read. Punctuation. Capitalization. Grammar. Sentence structure. Employ them, I beg you. I'd love to help you out, but I can't make sense of WTF you're asking.
