They’re **********. I went there first in 2019 and they wouldn’t let me do a test drive. Trried to hustle me with the typical manager switch off as I was trading in an M3. I left, and bought from prestige Ford with a much better deal and experience.. STAY AWAY FROM GRAPEVINE FORD!!!
I live in Dallas and drive to El Paso to see family - and play in the sand dunes there. Great fun and I’m actually surprised you don’t see more of them there.
Congrats - great looking truck!! I also have the 703's and was curious if you have any rubbing with the 35's? I'm running 37's and the rub from time to time even after trimming so might go back to 35's when it's time. (Like the M sign!)
As an Engineer, one of the first things you learn........ never buy the first year of a mew model! There’s always an intense pressure between sales / marketing and Engineering / Development to get it out but do it right. I’m sure internally the Dodge Engineers are telling Marketing...... told ya...
So, just out of curiosity, does anyone know how the oil change information on the Ford App determines / forecasts oil changes? Is it an intelligent monitoring system based on real oil quality, or just an algorithm based on your driving habits, etc?
Interesting! My entire truck is sprayed and the one area they didn’t recommend spraying was the wells...... They asked how much gravel I might get into and I said “maybe a lot, who knows.....”. They said rocks can chip it away and once water gets behind it I won’t be happy. Anybody have this...
I’m in TX as well, 2019 SCREW. The AC isn’t as effective as my other vehicles. The real trouble is keeping my two toddlers cool in the back. There’s absolutely zero coverage for car seats. I’ve had to use Noogles mounted in the front so it’s even worse for me. Oh well, still beats driving a...
I have run the Toyo RTs 37” since day one and am happy with them - except in wet hard surface they slide terribly so be careful. Had no issues off road.
Since you have a one year old, the first mod I recommend is a noggle - there is very little AC that blows to a rear ward facing car seat!! Lol
There are quite a few posts on upgrades. My biggest learning is be careful on new wheels, vast majority of aftermarkets dont have the correct offset...
As far as adapting from a sporty car, I too (like anothervr6kid) transitioned from driving M3’s. It’s interesting how many on the forum have had m3’s btw. You’ll find acceleration and handling to be slower, but now you can relax and not cringe when you hit potholes, and you might even accelerate...
Yep, it’s like a bedliner spray, but not as rough. I’ve ran it against small tree limbs and such and it’s been hailed on with marble size hail. No damage yet!
