    Bed bolts spinning

Thanks. I've fully rounded off the nut on one of the centers. I'm thinking about running a spot weld on the nut to the plate to getting it to stop spinning.

    Bed bolts spinning

Anybody figure out how to capture a spinning bed-bolt? I've got a middle bolt that is spinning and the nut feels rounded off.

    Cutting Up My Truck

Something I didn’t expect was the crazy spiderwebbing that came from cutting through two layers of line-X.

    Cutting Up My Truck

Finally knocked out the cuts in the bed for my bypass rack. I went 8.5” back from the front of the bed and 20” to the rear. I offset 1.75” on the side and tapered the cut to a 1/2” edge along the bedside. I used a 4.5” cut-off tool, but most of the cutting with with a dremel metal cutting blade...

    Cutting Up My Truck

I used a dull flap wheel and a razor blade on the plastic to smooth out the cut on the plastic trim. It’s not perfect, but it is greatly improved!

    Cutting Up My Truck

My measurements for the SVC Mojave rear was about 2.6" down from the plastic at the rear corner, and about 8.1" down to the crease. A flap wheel cleaned up the metal edge really nicely and I used a combination of a 3" cut-off tool, Dremel with a metal cutting blade, and an (air) body saw.

    Cutting Up My Truck

I finally started getting my truck together after waiting for the Inland NW winter to be over. Dovetail is almost done, but I have a lot of cleaning up to do on the plastic. I used a 3" cut-off saw and found that it melted the plastic pretty bad. I'm hoping that sanding and a razor blade will...

    Cutting Up My Truck

Well, I slipped this build to this Spring! So it's almost time. Does anyone (NEX?) have any dimensions for drain holes to support 3.5 bypasses in the bed? It looks straightforward, but I don't want to end up with too big of holes in the wheel wells.

Mid-Travel w/o Sway bar road manners?

Hey Ya’ll, I just realized the mid travel kit I ordered doesn't accommodate a sway bar. Anybody got some feedback on the road manners of their mid-travel setup w/o a sway bar? I'll be running 3.5 secondary bypasses if that matters.

    Anybody DIY their Mid-Travel Kits?

Nice! Did you have to swap uprights on any of the kits? Any challenges with brakes, hubs, or IWE?

Fiberglass Fenders - Comprehensive list and discussion

Dang! Thats a sweet build, but the fenders on the orange truck are way too small. Is the SVC mid-travel kit +2?!

Fiberglass Fenders - Comprehensive list and discussion

This is the perfect topic. Thanks. I ordered some +2 Mcneil's during their Black Friday sale. I planned for +2 fronts and stock bedsides but am now wondering if I should have gone +4 all the way around.

    Economical Mid-Travel Kits?

That looks like a super solid kit for the $$$. Especially if you decide to just run bumps without the bypasses.

    Anybody DIY their Mid-Travel Kits?

Curious if anybody installed their own mid-travel (front) kit in their garage and what their major challenges were. I've got a bolt-on style kit that I would like to put on myself, and then take to a pro for alignment and bypass mount (welding) install.
