ADM's existed for four years on the Gen 2's, so I'm not sure ADM's will be short lived. Depending on the dealership and location, sadly, ADM's on the Gen 3 will be here to stay for a long time.
A 2019 801a for $59k - there is something very wrong with that truck. Pull a Carfax... have a mechanic look over it... whatever you do, do your due diligence.
Crazy thing is, you don't have to make these Raptors too appealing these days... people are tripping over themselves and pay top dollar - even with a few blemishes.
And I'm guessing she has over 30,000 on the clock if she got new shoes 500 miles ago.
Wow... you're not kidding!
Here in Virginia, we pay a 4.15% sales tax upfront, but that's it - no taxes on sold vehicles. BUT, we do pay a hefty $4.20 per $100 in the county I live in. My Raptor cost me $2,684 the first year I bought it... went down to $2,034 the second year. It's the gift...
Assuming you have an 802A with Pano, and depending on where your area, I'm guessing you'd see between $67 and $71k on the trade. Just do a KBB and see what it says based on your exact details. And they'll certainly do a trade, but I'm pretty sure they won't actually close the trade deal until...
Do yourself a favor and educate yourself on buyback vehicles and understand the risks of buying one. Here are a few things to keep in mind...
If you're willing to take some risks, you can get a really good deal. Buy backs can sell for 10 to 40% under current market value.
When you decide to...
I researched this method extensively and learned from this forum that there’s a stopper that prevents the tube from going all the way down thus preventing one from getting all the oil out. And to your point, CobraJay, you can only get 3 to 4 quarts out.
350Industrial - how are are getting the...
Personally, I’m not one who has to always be right... clearly you’re different, but I respect that.
So the very first sentence of the article you linked says it all “...the Raptor depreciates at a significantly lower rate.” Did the author get that wrong too? Should it have said Raptors don’t...
And I’ll have to disagree that Raptors haven't lost value over the past couple of years. I sold mine for less than I paid for it and therefore it had lost value. I also know CarMax sold it for less than I paid for mine in April of 2019, and I paid under MSRP. But you’re exactly right about...
I’m back in the market for a Raptor after selling my 2019 last August for nearly what I paid for it. I miss her.
I’m fairly confident that the used Raptor market will get somewhat flooded when the 21 MY comes out. And when the R series comes out, providing the price isn’t stupid high, then...
You're correct - they were the early 2020 builds. Regardless the reason, it was very disappointing to see such low quality builds allowed off the Ford assembly line. Someone had to approve those vehicles as worthy of carrying the Ford badge - again, very disappointing to see.
I was recently in the market for an Explorer. Short story long... I ended up spending a hair bit more on the Lincoln Aviator because the fit and finish on the new Explorers was horrible. For the money Ford is asking, I expected a lot more... it looked like an 8 year old assembled them. The...
I will never buy a car without the original window sticker... my guy at my local dealership knows that. LOL I warn him over and over during the buying process... he now grabs them and brings it to me while we're doing the paperwork.
My Dad was the same way... I have the original window...
I'm really curious to see what happens to the TRX's resale value. Will it hold up like the Raptor?
The last time I checked, Ram trucks had the highest depreciation percentage of all trucks - double that of the Raptor.
