Congratulations on your new Raptor and I truly thank you for your service to this great country! You will wish the drive home was even longer. It will take you three hours just to get the smile off your face.
I love the KB Voodoo (Max Modular) rack. I run a soft shell tent (CVT Mt Ranier) for the amount of space, but its hard to argue with the convenience of a hard shell. If you have a bedcover, this rack works well. Great customer support also.
The Gen 2 Raptor market is similar to the housing market right now. It is a great time to sell if you’re willing to sit on the sidelines and wait for a correction before you buy back in.
Are you happy with how the KB Voodoo rack works with your tonneau cover? I have been looking very closely at this set up but I am concerned that the brackets that slide under the cover are a weak spot and susceptible to bending or breaking with heavy loads. Thank you for posting this build...
Have you been happy with the retrax Pro and the Yakima rack? I’ve been looking at the exact same set up but I currently have a bakflip F1 tonneau cover. The only rack I found to work with the bakflip is the KB voodoo and it has received many mixed reviews. Your rig looks great, anxious to hear...
Had the please of changing my passenger rear two weeks ago after running over a knife blade. The supplied jack was cumbersome, but worked fine. Luckily I had time to pull into a flat parking lot. The front may have been tough.
That was my assumption as well. But they are saying that side of the wheel is too thick for their equipment to remove the tire. Doesn’t make much sense to me, which is why I was reaching out to this community.
I have a 2019 with bead lock capable wheels. I ran over a knife blade this weekend and need a new tire. I’m at discount tire and they can’t seem to get the tire off the wheel. Anybody know if the beauty ring needs to be removed prior to tire removal? I would’ve hoped that they knew the answer...
So far, all I have found is the KB Voodoo rack, but there seems to be some mixed reviews on this forum. I have been looking for something strong enough to hold a rooftop tent and have not found anything else that will work with my BakFlip F1.
