I bought an intercooler for it, and decided once I went that way I would go with the COBB system and get a GooseTune for it. Still a ton of bang for the buck if you don't want to flash your truck tho!
I have a JB4 for sale with the bluetooth kit. Used for 3 months only on a 2019 Raptor. $400 shipped to you. I really liked it. Woke the truck right up in sport mode especially, and when ya need to take it in for warranty.. Pop it right off.. Burger knows what they are doing.
First impressions are.....wow!! Did some data logging this weekend so looking forward to refining the tune even more, but I think the most noticeable difference so far (over the JB4, in my case) is the truck just runs BETTER. I can't think of any reason I would recommend the JB4 on a raptor...
Just ordered my Stage 2 goose access port last night, looking forward to it! Hope to get better performance than the JB4. The JB4 is okay, but i just feel like there is more untapped power in this engine with a proper ECU tune, so that's what we'll do!
I'll sell mine to you if you want. I've had it for a few months, gonna go with a tune instead. It's a bit of a bump but i want something with a future trans tune capability. The Bluetooth feat is nice.
I went with the AFE. Rediculous price but man does it look good under there and the sound is unreal especially with the turbosmart Nov. Puts a smile on me so that's all that Matters
Put the Jb4 on a couple days ago. Takes 5 minutes to put on, fire it up and in sport mode it's a pleasant difference. Feels like right between stock and a flash tune, but easy enough to remove if you are concerned about warranty issues. I'd say for the price, In my opinion, this mod is a no...
It sounds awesome, 19 got it last friday. Install takes about an hour, intercooler hoses can be a bit of a pain to remove. Aside from that very cool mod. No performance gains of course.
I hear ya! The salesguy was floored that I didn't want to test drive it. Why do I need to test drive it? It's a Raptor. Give me your stupid sales pitch so I can give you money and get out of this place asap. Haha
I just sold my 2018 Sierra Denali that was RUSTING all over (body, frame, you name it) after only 4 months of ownership. What a POS that was. Took delivery of a '19 Rappy and the fit and finish are light years ahead of the garbage GM. I had a Viper GTS a few years back. "Hand built", amazing...
Not all the tuners have released for 2019 yet. Probably best to circle back to this question in a couple months once they have all dropped. I'm going to wait a bit on mine!
Frankly what I would do is lean on the dealer and work with them to fix it under warranty, make sure the paint is 1000% to your specs in all lighting conditions and get them to offer you another couple years warranty on the factory. Gives you peace of mind and the dealer will probably treat you...
Had about 20kms on it when I took this. Sunny day. Almost a chrome look to it. This is a super cool colour, shines when it's bright and is dark when it's dark.
