For comparison spring compared to Thermostat. Not sure I trust the dealer because I checked the coolant reservoir before I left and it wasn’t filled up correctly and now I find this random spring.
Dropped a few plastic clips in engine bay while replacing bad Horn. Fished a few out of bottom skid plate and found this spring in the back. Had the truck in recently to replace a bad water pump/thermostat.
My 2018 with sunroof was leaking. Dealer replaced glass panels rear roof light, drain tubes, satellite antenna all with no luck. I read on the F150 forum about a similar problem with the actual tray/frame for the sunroof having a crack and sent the link to the service manager at my dealership...
The actuator went out on mine 2018 with 48,000 miles covered under warranty. There’s a post somewhere on this forum with the part number if you wanted to try to replace it yourself. If you can get the tailgate open and takeoff the panel you will be able to see what is happening with the actuator...
I had the same issue with my 18. Dealer tried 4 separate times to fix the issue. Even replaced the glass panels, seals, drains, and rear brake light.
I found a post on the F150forum on how to diagnose the issue and sent it to my dealer. It ended up being tray/frame that fits into the roof...
I pull a 25 ft Malibu LSV double axle to and from the dealer for annual service. Weight is right at 8,000. All stock and no weight distribution hitch. Doesn’t sag too much. About 35 miles. I just take it slow. Truck does fine.
