Bumping This Topic Back Up... Anyone else get the TSB service done for the whistle? I am still holding off as some are getting complete transmissions and some are doing the service 10+ hr Service. The dealership keeps calling that they have the parts just not a fan of the idea...
Just wanted to check on the members that are getting this fixed. I brought mine in for the first service and let them know the TSB # etc and they ordered parts for the fix as the TSB stated. I don't like the idea of going into the transmission even when the parts do come in, a trans replacement...
Major dislikes are a few Interior rattles which my 17’ had zero at 38k miles. Thinking it’s where the CD player used to be and possibly no support now. Mostly noticeable in hotter weather. Only other thing to be looked at is the whistle from the transmission which has a bulletin but with Covid...
Yes that sounds like mine as well. Did your trucks do this from new? I picked mine up with 15miles and didn't hear it till later that night with around 40miles.
Picked up my 20' Lead Foot with bead locks around Thanksgiving and thought possibly my ADD Pro Bolt on or recently Tinted Windows were the "wind" noise but sounds like this is more common. My 17' had bead locks and not a single noise, whistle or rattle. Please keep us updated if anyone tracks...
Will be Trading my 17' Magnetic, 802a, Tech Pkg, BeadLocks etc.. Have a 2020 Leadfoot being built the week of Oct 28th. Will let you guys know how bad the trade in is!
