I purchased a new ‘18 last February. $6600 off sticker. They did have a ‘19 on the lot for sticker. There is still a dealer in town that is charging $8k OVER sticker as a “market adjustment”. For me there was not a $6k difference between ‘18 and ‘19.

It is you that’s being misleading. Yes you can flash back to stock but they will be able to tell that the ecu has been flashed recently. No one has said that having a tune means you WILL have a problem, only that it’s likely Ford will deny any powertrain warranty claims. You could try to lawyer...
It was my understanding that they are still going to know you had something on there even if you flash back to stock due to the # of ignition cycles since the last ECU reflash or something like that, intercooler or not.
