Well, this is a long one! If you don't like it, scroll now, and forever hold your peace.
Wasn't sure how I felt about it when I first seen it. Which says a lot when I think back to how I felt when I saw the first Raptor. Pitched my tent immediately. I couldn't sleep, couldn't stop googling to...
Had some Asian guy back into my front tow hook while I was sitting in the truck parked with my engine off... At least 4 car lengths of empty space ahead of me. And he has to back all the way up to me..
I even honked when he got too close as I was watching the reflection off the shop windows to...
2010 Ford F-150 4WD SuperCab 133" SVT Raptor
They've been reposting this for a while now...
Priced at 23.5k, I'm not sure why they're havin so much trouble selling a Rap...... Oh I see.. :troll3:
Bit of a rant.... but here goes.
Can a dealer allocation that they ordered in "Orange" for example... Be changed to White if it already has a V.I.N but hasn't been built?
Is "serialized" the same thing as getting a V.I.N?
How far into the order/build process can vehicle options still...
Hell of a lot easier to park than my Camaro was.
Visibility in the Raptors great imo. I tend to back into spaces habitually... Just makes leaving that much quicker.
I don't have a backup camera or anything and never have any issues.
As for the narrow spots..
Parking isn't the problem...
He's looking into it for me atm to see what my options are. And tryin to save me some coin. Going to talk to the guy they use for painting.. We'll see what he comes back with.
I agree that would be good customer service on the dealerships end. But I think that since the dealership never...
I tried to buy my truck through them, but they couldn't get the color I wanted in. Only reason I bought elsewhere.. But this was the only local Ford dealership that I had a decent experience at.
That said, I have serviced with them regularly since my purchase..As well as any warranty work...
I hear you.
Yeah, service guy said based on the way its rubbing off in its locked away position.. Line X or removing the extender were my only options after repainting.
If it was just regular rusting or wear n tear or fading.. caused by exposure alone.. I wouldn't even bother trying to get...
I don't know when I last checked into this thread, but thought I'd chime in again.
Still getting pretty much the exact same MPG at 41,000 km as I was in the beginning.
I'm gettin 20-21L/100km mixed. or (10-11 MPG) mixed.
Never seemed to change much between regular or higher octanes. With...
So I've got the factory bed extender on the Raptor with no bed liner.
Under the bed extender at the points that rest on the surface of the bed itself... Ford has those little rubber nubs on the resting points.
While not in use, and locked up properly on the side as per Ford's design...
I get the burning plastic smell on a semi regular basis. Not caused by off-roading in my case...
Usually happens after a few minutes on the highway. Tech guy thought that it might be the due to the transmission design, basically poor shifting and what not creating stress and as a result...
2010 6.2L Scab.
Roughly 40k KM... which translates to... somewhere around 25k miles?
Still getting 21L/100km (about 11 mpg) mixed driving... almost 50/50
Has been fairly consistent since day 1.
Although, the computer says this is the mileage... I am inclined to think it is doing...
I don't really play the brand loyalty game. I don't entirely care what brand makes a vehicle. I just care how much I enjoy said vehicle. How the company treats me as a customer, and the quality of the product I am paying for.
That said, having had 3 GM's and the Raptor being my 2nd ford.... I...
lol.
I love Starwars.. But the wrap/neon-lighting on that thing is over-kill/tacky.
I can dig the han solo though.. that made me laugh
I could go for a Vader theme if it were done a lot more subtle.
For the money wasted on tacky mods... he coulda hired a handful of leila's for some fun.
