I agree that you can go 10,000 or more easily with full synthetic under "normal" conditions. When in an abusive environment (on the track or hot footing it for a weekend in the desert), I like to change the oil and power steering fluid more often.
I don't think the current 3.5 eco boost will happen in a Raptor, outside of a law by the federal government outlawing engines over a certain displacement (currently under study by our own lovely Barbara Boxer). Why?

With K9 units leather is the only way to keep the truck clean. We won't buy a vehicle without leather or at least fake leather as the upkeep is possible...with mouse fur it is impossible.

It's a lot of light for very little amp draw. Not sure what state or country your in but in most of the USA these are illegal for public road use.

Having said that I went with a UV blocker tint (5%) on the doors and windshield; I just want to keep the UV rays off me and the interior. While it may not look as cool, for me it is more functional...

Well this article is more than a little disappointing:
While Ford was making noise about not taking federal bailout money, they and other major automakers (both foreign and domestic) got federal aid to the tune of tens of billions of dollars when the economy tanked in 2008.

In my estimation the back-up camera on the Raptor is the most valuable option. I can back the truck into my garage and put it consistently 3 inches from the wall...which of course it needs to be for the garage door to close.
