Can't get my rear to do a draggy run but did run a co workers , Mach 1 with cams and straight pipes . Did give him a slight hit from rolling stop light. His plate is V84EVR. Going to have to talk smack tomorrow to him.
I have a had a x2 in my 2010 for 6 years . Truck sits a lot , it always starts . Just bought one for my 2019 , no issues. pricey but they a good quality .
Ok here is a hint of some good results on E50 last year Feb pulled off a 4.79 with 2500rpm boost launch 93 ots cobb . This week Because of work and traffic cops and other things, I did a 0 to 60 non boost launch just 4 high and rolled into the gas from a stop and beat my previous best...
Arizona has Crap 91 , Cobb Acessport says it more like 90 to 89 by knock counts . last 2 months I run 6 gallons e85 to 20 gallons of 91 . i can run the Cobb OTS stage 2 93 octane tune on this ,Ecm its always adding timing as well. Truck runs really strong , soon to get a E50 Tune from Goose.
That's your High pressure fuel pump. Runs off a cam lobe . I what i have heard of before the cam lobe will shift position on cam, throws fuel timing off , causing bolts to break or come loose , make sure they check the cam lobe and cam timing
Cooling off now in Arizona . Did a spark plug change over the weekend . Should of changed them 5k miles ago. Started feeling a miss mid throttle. These been in there 25k mile with heavy Boostane use over the summer. Gaps opened up .08 thousands from where i set them. Going to change oxygen...
Same thing on my 2010 Gen 1 first year owning it . It softened up my hoses and split top one 6 months after changing out cooler . Funny my Gen2 Lightning has same oil cooler and did same thing leaked oil into coolant .
My truck hot idles at 32 to 33 psi . The screen with pressure Guage and oil temp is what I normally drive with . When getting into boost I usually look for the pressure to swing up.
As long as you see 60 psi + under load your good . 30 plus at idle if oil temp is 165deg or higher. If oil is cold it will idle 23 psi till reaches temp. I don't start running it hard till oil temp is 180 deg. Unless someone is acting a fool I will get into some boost at 150 deg oil temp.
