My 2019 OEM floor mats appear gray even though they are completely cleaned. They seems to be oxidizing or scuffing very easily. Anyone else seeing this? Anyone know the part number for the raptor specific mats?
I have a supercrew and only the fronts are doing this. I’m thinking maybe bad...
I found getting it all hooked up and then driving it before remeasuring worked to overcome the Live shock issue. I was also careful to measure at the same spot each time with a straight edge.
I got everything working. For those that are interested - my tongue weight is 650lbs per the Sherline scale. I used 5 washers on the hitch and left the L-brackets in the center position. Trailer is almost exactly level, about 1/2” nose down when the suspension squats. Front wheel arch...
I thought it should be pretty simple to setup too. Hasn’t turned out that way so far. Like others my hitch is angled down. I wonder if that is messing with the hitch angle relative to the trailer.
@Loufish the equalizer hitch doesn’t use chains, it uses brackets on the trailer frame and spacer washers on the hitch head to adjust the weight transfer. And yes to get the weight bars attached you have to crank the jack way up as in the video you posted.
For folks that have an Equalizer...
Today I spent about 4 hours trying to get my Raptor setup to tow our SxS's. It is a 20' SureTrac tandem axle - trailer, two machines and gear are ~6000lbs.
I have a Equalizer 10K WDH. I tried 10+ setups and it wasn't able to get it dialed in.
The front barely moved even without the WDH bars...
I found this green plug on the garage floor. It must have been under my raptor (small amounts of undercoating on it). What is it and where does it go?
Says K-2071 4 on it.
2019 with 802A. I've had the truck about a week and it was a special order so it didn't sit on a lot. This Sunday morning the seat up/down and recline controls stopped working. Front/back, front up/down, lumbar, heating and cooling all still work. On Sunday afternoon it magically started...
Any tips on installing this sun shade?

Once i am able to get it in, it fits well, but it is a pain getting the bottom edge in while getting the top around the grab handles.
Truck showed up this afternoon! This morning the tracking system showed no ETA but got preliminary pictures from the dealer in the afternoon. Getting Valugard undercoating done before picking it up on Saturday.
My 2019 order was due today. Didn’t show up at the dealer. Ford performance chat says it has been on a truck at the rail depot 2 hours away since 3/12. Dealer says there is no tracking number and no way to call the trucking company. Any ideas on how to get more info on where it is?
I’m planning to get mine coated with valugard as well. I want to be specific about what should not be coated. Other than the obvious (shocks, spare, exhaust, transmission, transfer case) what on the suspension and underbody shouldn’t be coated?
Any one familiar with Protectall paint sealant? If so, could you share pros/cons/pricing? I couldn’t find any commercial info on it online. It is one of the dealer sales options I typically avoid, but I’m curious after reading all the paint sealant discussions here.
I brought the wife and kids to test drive a Raptor before I ordered. Salesman gave me the keys and said to have fun.
I think it depends on how many performance vehicles the dealer has and how much in demand they are. I got the no test drive response trying to drive a Saleen PJ limited edition...
I read here some late 2018 Raptors were arriving with rusty frames, suspensions etc. is that still an issue with recently built 2019s or is Ford better coating the underbody?
My PB is enroute via rail and I’m I’m tryinnh to figure out if I’m going to be dealing with treating surface rust as...
My build completed on 2/25 as schedule and is awaiting shipment. Sticker says ramp CA04. Any idea what that means and how to track the shipping progress?
Thanks for the comments so far.
Goblues38 - I’m not going to get my truck (it’s on order) until after winter is mostly over here. That’s why I’m asking for forum advice before purchasing. I will be posting a review of which ever flap I get.
Yeah I saw this one. Salt and sand on New England roads spray different at highway speeds than thick mud at low speed. I’m also interested in knowing if the rears are long enough to catch rocks thrown from the tires.
I’m looking for long term opinions on the husky mudflaps. My main goal is reducing sand and salt on the side of the truck and limiting rocks from rear tires hitting the toys on my trailer. How well do the work?
I've ordered a 2019 and I'm locked in at this point on the factory Tonneau Pickup Box Cover - Hard. I've searched the forum and seen conflicting info.
Can folks share:
0. What make and model is the cover - I've seen both extang and bak listed here
1. Pictures of it on the truck - the ford...
