While at Raptor Assault, they explained what was going on with the modes. It’s throttle response, brakes, trans and suspension changes. We then verified it on a short dirt track…especially how the suspension and brakes combine to limit nose dive and control. Baja Mode is Sport on steriod and...
I’d do the bezels
its just looks complete. I lost the S2 but the S1 is still plenty bright. I haven’t finished aligning them yet, but they are stupid bright…Squadron Pro DRIVING Combos and S1 WIDE Cornering.
Do they make noise with all the interlinking metal parts, either in closed or rolled up position? On-road or off? I can't stand rattles and will just go with a soft cover if that's an issue. Gen2s are too dang quiet. No noise for me, it latches pretty solid.
Can the tailgate be opened/closed...
After having some fun with several generations of Android and Rooting...I moved to an iPhone (no jailbreak) and haven't looked back. Sometimes Open Source can be too "Open"!
Definitely food for thought!
I'll start with the Winch and the cradle and scale up from there.
I've already been stuck in 4' of water without a buddy or winch. Anything would have helped at that point. To Ford's credit, the truck idled just fine with 6" of water in it, and is still running to...

Quick question...
Does the wireless remote also operate the clutch? I’m looking at the Swarfworks winch mount and it looks like there will be no way to access the clutch lever on the winch.
Has anyone else experienced a significant whine that seem to be coming from the rear axle at about 70-80 MPH? It gets louder with speed. I believe its there at low speeds also but not as noticeable. Its loud enough that I don't want to take long trips or talk on the speakerphone on the highway...
After reading through some of this...I recommend that everyone that can, go to Raptor Assault in Utah, where you'll get to experience each mode in the right environment with instructors...
On dirt, there's no beating Baja Mode and on the street I love Sport Mode. I grew up driving a 5 speed 5.0...
Depending on the drive mode it will allow you to "bend but not break" the truck. The electronics will step in way before you get out of shape. It soaks up a lot and while it may feel loose, it isnt...you've got to get used to its behavior.
Try to make the Raptor Assault class to test out the...
