Need some help.
Have a 2019 with only 40k.
Started noticing on my voltage gauge , that once the truck warmed up, the voltage would react directly with gas pedal. If you are driving constant speed or accelerating it is 12.5-12.6 volts. When you lift off the pedal it shoots to 14.8-14.9...
Will do. Nothing yet. Will be at ford on Monday to drop off for Cam Phasers so might see if they can figure out a part to order without whole mirror assembly.
I was backing out of garage looking for dog in the back up camera and caught the drivers mirror , barely , on edge of garage. Cracked the black trim ring. Looking at parts diagram don't see it as individual part. Here are some pics. Anybody have suggestions??
Same boat as everyone. Bought a 19 when they first came out. Paid 68k for 73k sticker. Was offered yesterday 69.3k for it. Very hard not to sell it. Basically drove it for free 2.5 years but what else am I gonna buy.
Cant wait until you run Ford. I'm tired of all these cars with less then 500 hp. When you are there they will all have 1000hp+ and never wear out. I cant wait. You are so smart.....Idoit
My point is the minute you add more power it adds more stress. There is zero ways around this. Of course manufacturers build a margin, hopefully large. My simple point was added boost and timing will reduce the lifespan of a motor. Didnt say if it was 1% or 50%. Just stated that it will increase...
You are the one that is completely clueless. Ask any engineer, or better anyone with any common sense, and they will tell you added stress equals premature wear.
If this were the case why wouldn't Ford just make a 500hp raptor. Would be a much better marketing tool. Hell why not 550hp, just...
So you are saying if you add 50+ hp and or 75ftlbs tq there's no extra motor wear that may cause a failure prematurely????
That's comical.
Fyi, my focus rs is tuned. I'll take the chance.
As others said this is a little misreading. They will simply check the key cycle and see your 2017 has 10 key cycles on it since last flash which most likely was at the factory 2 years ago.
First you have to write to the ECU to change things such as auto start stop.
Your dealer will always be able to tell if they really want to. Most of it is done on key cycles. They will see how many times your key has been cycled since the ECU was flashed. I suppose you could sit there and...
Etune is vehicle specific.
Cobb is not offering an etune. Just a canned tune.
Mountune does etune for your car. More time consuming then dyno but results are very similar.
Cobb tune for the Focus compared to Mountune was a joke. Once you add in the etune the difference was night and day.
I'm not sure mountune is etuning the raptor, dont see it mentioned. I do see a tune for 91 octane vs cobb at 93.
For those who dont know mountune is directly tied to Ford...
Just got an email about Mountune having Raptor tune now. Huge fan of them. I have a focus RS that I did an etune and full b7 package, 14 revisions on the etune with Randy to get it just right. Will be much better then Cobb if you do an etune.
