Yes, my panel has ripped off at least a dozen times. Now half of the tabs are broken. I'm considering trimming down the edges when I order a replacement to see if it cuts down on catching things.

A ceramic coating won't protect against pinstripes so I'm going Xpel. Quoted $5800 for the entire truck excluding roof. Ceramic coatings are also more prone to water spots.
