I used the belt of a conveyor. It's glas fiber reinvorced. Just traced it down and cutted it out. Basicly bullet proove ;-) greetings from bavaria

good news.. I am looking for an option to get mine running. My problem is just, since I am living in Germany, I have a european Alpine installed, what is not supported. So I have to buy a US radio as well. But than the radio frequenzes are not working. Just a mess o_O

I have a model 2014 but it was first time registered on street in Mai 2015. OK it was shipped to Germany, what takes about 4-6 weeks. But I do not know how long mine was sitting at the dealer, before it was sold. I am the second owner.

Just a final update. It was the fuel pump module (FPDM). There was no visual defect, but after the swap the raptor run like hell again and failure was gone.

when will you get the unit? I was thinking installing my Ipad pro + an alpine unit. But comparing costs, this unit would be very interessting. Looking forward to your oppinion.

awsome built.. but I would relocate the transmission cooler. Behind the intercooler is not good. And try to get a bigger radiator. maybe you can put the transmission cooler under the intercooler and get some air plates to it.

You get used to the gas prices. But a huge difference to my time, when I was in South Carolina. But filling up the car is not so expensive. I can not fill up the car completly. The gas stations has a safty feature and will not give more than 30 gal of gas. :D:D
