Mine hasn’t replicated the issue.
My Dealer said especially if it’s still under Extended Warranty to bring it in and have them check it out so issue and you checking on it is documented.
Mounted mine under the Driver’s side rear seat. Drilled holes through the frame under the seat where I attached the Fire Extinguisher. It’s weight is on the floorboard. Protected when the seat is down but easily accessible.
Been there since 2018 with no problems.
Will take and post a picture...
Finally, talk to the Dealer and get the VIN as soon as possible and before the truck is delivered. Use it to register for the free Ford Raptor Driving School in Utah.
School is well worth the time an effort especially for someone that isn’t an experienced off-roader.
School fills up...
Get in the habit of pulling the mirrors in every time you go through a drive through or park it. Truck is 6 inches wider than a regular F-150 which doesn’t seem like much until you drive it. Outside mirrors do stick out.
I have a 2018 Raptor with 34,000 miles.
Recently I received multiple Low Oil Pressure Warnings from Ford Pass.
The vehicle itself indicated no problem and I checked the Oil level which was fine.
To be safe I took the vehicle to the Dealership and had it checked out. They found no...
Special Ordered mine to my Specs from Kirk Ford in Genada, MS for $1k above Dealer Invoice. GM has moved to Canon Ford in Starkville, MS and I believe he will give you the same price. GM is Chris Keene.
Feel free to tell him I referred you.
I had a similar issue at about 8k miles. Ford tried everything to make the Codes go away. Said the Cats wouldn’t fail that early.
However, they finally gave up and replaced the Cats under Warranty.
Problem went away. Vehicle now has 18k miles with no more issues.
Never figured out why...
I have a 6/125 and also have the Maintenance Plan for the same period. The Maintenance Plan probably doesn't pencil out if you just consider the cost of taking it in for regular maintenance, but if anything is wrong I don't have a problem with either the Dealer or Ford. It's theirs.
I live in Mississippi and have a bolt on bumper guard I bought from the Raptor training folks in Utah for exactly this reason.
Luckily haven’t had to test it.
Will try to reduce the Deer Population by one Tuesday.
Speed limit has to do with tires that aren’t rated to go real fast.
Read that as Ford Liability Concerns.
Same reason they limit your speed at Raptor Assault.
Just bought a Chemical Guys Foam Cannon and Cleaning Supplies on Amazon Prime Days.
Can't wait to try them out.
Any tips?
Also bought a BUF504X TORQR Rotary Polisher. Anyone have any experience with it?
I had exactly the same problem. Was getting the Yellow "Service Engine Soon" idiot light. Took it in and the Dealer ran the codes and got P0420 and P0430 which they said indicate the Catalytic Converters were bad--both of them. No one believed that since the truck had less than 10k miles on...
Not even all Raptor Owners can get in the class. When we were out there they told us only 16% of Raptor Owners took the class, some due to Class capacity. They increased the size of the Class this year so that should help.
I agree with you. If I had a kid I'd want to take him too, but I...
Dumb questions:
How does the Jimmy Jammer work?
Do you just install the perimeter security addition to existing Raptor Security system to make it plus or do you have to replace the security system?
It looks like my wife’s 2014 Explorer Sport has the same lock system. Why haven’t they had the...
